I have been craving Thai food ever since I left NOVA 10 years ago. I now live in NJ so it's not that great. But I don't know why in VA especially Loudon County it's always been great. Bua Thai, well done I'm extremely happy. Keep up the good work. God I'm going to get so fat.

Usually good, but it only takes one bad experience. I ordered my go-to, chicken fried rice for lunch, take out. It tasted and smelled fishy. I ate about half and had to throw it out. The worst part was it made me sick to my stomach all night.
Excellent. Just excellent. Amazing food, perfect level of spice, classic Thai menu, excellent service, quiet space.They also have a great happy hour pricing for drinks (and some apps are discounted too). This is a surefire addition to my favorites list and a go-to from here out for this area.
Bua Thai, wow words cannot adequately express the level of disappointment with this spot. Maybe in another time pre Covid this place was a spot to come to, maybe in that time service was actually on time and the food was actually hot. While I am dreaming maybe in that time before Covid the staff concerned themselves with the satisfaction of their paying customers. Ah but these are all fantastical musings of a time that most definitely is not now. To start off, slow and rude staff, warm to lukewarm food, flavorless and uninspired food, not worth the exaggerated prices for the less than subpar experience. Because believe me it is an experience, just not a pleasant one. There are way too many Thai restaurants to chose from where the behavior of this one places it clearly at the bottom of that ring. Avoid this place and take your money somewhere that it will be respected and appreciated.
Bua Thai is some of the best Thai food around here. If it is your first time I strongly recommend getting chicken kaprow. The sauce is too good and goes perfectly with rice. The chicken is also thin and well cooked. It is not heavy at all and has a perfect spice to it. I also recommend getting veggie dumplings for your appetizer. I do not even like veggies and i get this every single time I go here. Trust me on this!
Absolutely delicious, doesn’t matter what you order. Everything is cooked perfectly, and is sure to delight. I LOVE their panang curry chicken box that comes with edamame, a little salad, the entree plus a spring roll and 3 vegetable potstickers. Everything was perfection and I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed a meal so much. I also ordered the mango sticky rice and the fried bananas and I could eat those everyday. I’m blown away between the incredible flavors and the beautiful presentation of the food. Delivery was a breeze and the gentleman who delivered it was incredibly kind. What the heck are you waiting for?! Bua Thai has stolen my heart.
Really amazing food - tastes so great and all the ingredients are so fresh. Light, just right amount of Thai heat (online order is very detailed to get exactly what you want), tasty sauce and seems so authentic and not "processed." Home delivery is fantastic - quick and hot.
We ordered delivery and it was delivered right on time, super friendly, absolutely one of the best Thai food experiences we've had! The Kaprow was exceptional and the Panang Curry was so tender it melted in your mouth.
We are always looking for a really good Thai restaurant and have found one in Bua Thai! They delivered our food and it was so fresh and absolutely delicious!
