Horrible service and casual, callous attitude !Served my wife meat, when already specified about her religious food specific needs of no meat, no egg, no fish! Her Tofu Bibimbap came out with eggs on the side. The server / manager said, “ok I will remove the egg” astonishing for someone who works within the food world - there needs to be a new dish made as the meat / egg is also about cross contamination. On being visibly upset, I was asked “Why are you upset!”Think about this…..so my wife is hungry and has to sit hungry for another 20 odd minutes without food thinking about how she’d have just committed a religious sin consuming what had been served earlier are no grounds to be upset!?!?!This wasn’t all - he came back with the new order and told me that I should not have been upset at all as they will not charge for my wife’s meal. Equating hunger with the billed amount. How cheap a thought process is that!Disgrace.
This Bonchon restraunt is beyond perfect. I took my whole family here and all of them were super satisfied. My dad loves crispy wings and no restraunt serves them like bonchon. Their chicken is always perfectly cooked and is flavored super well. Their tteok-boki is super good too! If you go here you need to try their chicken. You will never be unsatisfied. But do not try their spicy chicken unless you can handle a lot of spice! (This is coming from someone that has a high spice tolerance)This is my favorite place around here to get chicken from. Definetly need to try!
The soy and garlic chicken strips looks like chicken fingers and very dry , I meant some serious fingers ..!The count is different from any other Bonchon in the area and payed $38 for 24I bought the same thing from Bonchon in Annandale a couple of times , they are perfect and just the way they suopose to be, payed $28 for 20..
I got through Uber eats. It was perfect. 03/22/22 I need to edit my review. My family food poisoning the day after we are our food. Never again.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with their wings or drumsticks! It's crazy good!
The fried chicken was great! Crispy and savory. The salad vegetables were visibly pre-cut for awhile due to their dehydrated edges on the peppers, cucumbers, and some of the mesculin were wilted. The pork belly buns were mostly small chunks, rather than a full piece and a bit dry.
Great service and the quality of the chicken is perfect not dry nor tiny. The salad is good. The place is clean and well organized. The owner is friendly. Just be patient with orders because the owner is the only one who take the orders.
First time trying Korean fried chicken despite having Korean food before. Perfectly fried on outside and juicy on inside. Great flavors. Coleslaw and fries were awesome. Kimchi was a bit too spicy but good overall.
Sad and disappointing. We ordered a family meal for $48, and the variance in quality from our other BonChon experiences in NoVA was very noticeable. The boneless wings (basically frozen nuggets) were barely sauced, but at least tasted decent. The drumsticks though... Oh man. The meat was yellow and rancid tasting, as if old and freezer burnt or left out on the kitchen counter for too long. The taste of "expired chicken" permeated beyond what little sauce the fried drumsticks had been tossed in. We couldn't even finish one. What has gone so wrong at this location to allow this?
Absolutely disgusting. No sauce at all, overcooked so much that i have to drink water after every bite it's so dry. If you want good Korean Fried Chicken, just go to their South Riding Location or Choong Man Chicken in Ashburn. Up your game, Bonchon.
