Went for the pho. The noodles were undercooked, broth was decent and the meat was tough. They also do not have bottles of sriracha and hoisin and give small bowls for sauce.Certainly not the best I've had.
The food was delicious I have no complaints about the food or service from my experience. On my visit, I ordered chicken pho, with extra veggies and extra noodles. Great choice for under 20 bucks.
The night I went the place was quiet it was the first time I've ever had this type of food and I did enjoy it. I believe the older gentleman might be the owner when I told him this is the first time I have had this type of food he really didn't respond. And I asked him a few questions and he answered them briefly but considering that I was looking for suggestions and he was more interest in leaving me on my own. I'm not sure but maybe it's because he speaks broken English and I do not in any way hold that against him and I love people of all different nationalities and races. I just thought it was odd. But I would eat here again.
Pros - Good HOT broth.Bad - The good HOT broth would be better with some more siracha. They are kinda Stingy with meat and very Stingy with sauce.I understand maybe covid keeping them from having Siracha and hoisin sauce sitting out at the table .. but I was shocked to see they bought out a couple drips or Siracha and hoisin on a plate and expect that to be enough. I asked for additional sauce and another dribble plate of sauce was given..The pho is already $12-13 for large... I wouldnt mind paying 50 cents more for some more sauce.Needless to say I'm not coming back because they are being petty with the sauce. I know I'm being petty AF as well for not going to a pho restaurant because of sauce... but even quickfire hibachi leaves Siracha out for customers to squeeze as they please... ?♂️
Service was fast and friendly, menu is extensive with lots of options to choose from. I got pho and spring rolls, and there was plenty of food, the portions were large.
Best pho in the area.
I ordered P19 Special Combination that’s $11.95 and A16 Deep Fried Large Shrimp for $9.95. (See all pictures attached)They charged me $24.04I wonder, how much is food and beverage tax in VA now?Or I’m just bad at math???In addition, the large pho gave you extra amount of the noodle that really stuffs you but the sliced beef is not considered large to me.Also, broth is not hot enough to turn supposed-to-be-raw beef to be done.Other than that, it’s a bit better than some of other Pho.
Best pho in the east coast.Get the D2 Hue combo. I've eaten at dozens of Pho places and it is unique and delishious. The guy that runs the place is the nicest.Almost everything is gluten free including the fried spring rolls! The best sit down restaurant I've ever been to for ASD hypersensitivity. Staff is quiet and unobtrusive. No music. Great spacing between tables.
Pho had good noodles and meats. However, the broth was underwhelming and there was not much meat even in the large portion.
Always top quality and very tasty. A goto for Vietnamese food in the area.
