Food is consistently good and the iced coffee is never bitter. Wish the new fruity caffeine drinks came in a sugar-free option because they look good!Due to low staffing, be prepared to clean off your table first when dining in. But food prep is quick and I've never had a wrong order, either dining in or with delivery. Staff are more personable than a lot of other places!
Panera Bread is a chain restaurant that has high quality food with a made from home kind of vibe. Soups, toasted sandwiches, what's not to love?My personal favorite dish is perfect on a cold winter's day or even in spring, it is soup but with a thing of bread hallowed out to be the container / bowl. It is a combination that gets the best of both worlds. I can not recommend it enough.They give little buzzers when your meal is ready so you know when to go the counter and pick it up. It beats having to listen for your order or name being called! I highly recommend going there. Some locations even offer free WiFi!
Just wanted to comment that an employee named Gabriella gave me exceptional service. She even gave me a cookie for the long wait time. I hope she has a good day!
In search of a great smoothie in herndon Virginia ....wasnt sure about panera. Not only was the recommended Green Smoothie fabulous the service was better. Billy is a stand out person. So friendly and helpful but goes the extra extra mile. Such an asset in any establishment. Thanks for the great service and friendly smile behind that mask.
I left my wallet at this location and returned in the evening to find it intact including all my cash. The staff is friendly and helpful.
This review is about the location than Panera Bread in general.I have been visiting this place since it was opened decades ago. In last 2 years, they have been messing up almost every order placed. Missing items, wrong items, misplaced orders….. you just name it. Every pick up order is verified and signed by someone. Even then order is inaccurate.Whenever I call back, they are ready to provide refund. But that is not the point.
I placed an online order before 11AM (I have proof) so the website gave me the breakfast sandwich option for the Panera at Elden St in Herndon. After 11:30 while I was at the parking lot waiting to pick up, I got a call from Panera telling me that because I placed my order after 11:30 they won’t make it for me and immediately canceled my order even after I explained that I placed my order more than 30 minutes ago. Are you kidding me? I drove to another Panera explained what happened and the mgr took care of us. Elden St Panera have a terrible customer service.
My company is located right down the street from this location so we place a lot of curbside pick up orders. We usually are greeted by Billy and every single time no matter the weather or things going on in the world Billy is always kind and enthusiastic! We truly appreciate him and will continue to order for office from this location for the continued amazing customer service!

Staff & service is the BEST. If coffee runs low, they fix it quickly. Staffers are in a great mood. New menu items (flat bread pizza) are very good!
