Came here for lunch and ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken lunch special. It was very hot and had a good amount of chicken and broccoli. It tasted better than other restaurants' Pad See Ew. However, the lunch special ended up costing over $15.00, which, to me, isn't that special. I'd recommend going here for better than average Thai food if you are okay with spending more than average.

Very good Thai Restaurant. I had fried rice with tofu and a sticky rice with mango and they were excellent.

We have been going to this Reston periodically since it opened and it has consistently met every expectation we have for excellent Thai food. Last night, Mother's Day, they were super busy with dine in and carry out and the owner was literally running to keep up with orders. Nonetheless, he will always find time to chat with customers. A couple of months ago, we were seated next to two women and Nunu came over and asked one about her husband. She related that he was recently deceased. Nunu didn't just say he was sorry; he sat down with her and consoled her, sharing her grief. We decided that we would be dining at this restaurant once a month from then on. Last night we had Coconut Curry Chicken, Crispy Basil Beef and Jumbo Lava Shrimp. We have lived in Southeast Asia and eaten this cuisine through the US. Nunu's doesn't disappoint!

From out of town but we genuinely enjoyed the experience and will be back next time we're in town. I had curry and my fiancé had drunken noodles. The food was great, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and Nunu is a great guy. We felt at home! Highly recommend.

We have tried the green curry, the Panang curry, the yellow curry, the sticky rice, and the dumplings! Everything they make is delicious and obviously made with loving care. The employees are funny and so professional! We recommend them to everyone!!!

Food was delicious. Had the opportunity to sit outside. Was greeted by owners and our waitress was attentive. Since we had an early dinner, noticed that the restaurant had a steady stream of diners anticipating a great meal. Look forward to visiting again.

Modern, clean, and busy inside. Staff is nice. The Panang Curry has too much coconut milk in my opinion, could improve with the taste. Drunken Sautéed Noodles are excellent, so savory and well seasoned. Overall, this is a great and authentic Thai restaurant. Loses a star because of the Panang Curry, but will come back to try some more.

If you want rice noodles so greasy, beef you can’t recognize, and broccoli so mushy and wilted you can barely get down your Pad-See Ew, come to Nunu's in Herndon.Worse: I took my full, barely touched take-out container back the next day to get my over $16 back — because $16 AND principle. And the waitperson started to haggle with me.“Had I tasted it?” Yes! That's why I was returning it.“We can offer you a 50% refund.” Are you kidding me? This is disgusting.I was going to be quiet and discreet about the whole thing. Just give me a refund. I won't be loud about it. But after the waitperson spent five minutes on the phone with the owner and still no refund, I took my card back and left.Look at it this way: I’m out $16. But you don’t have to be.Remember: If you go to restaurant with dining room floors so sticky and gummy your shoes cling to the floor, get out as fast as you can.I broke my cardinal rule when I ordered from here. But you don't have to.
