Tres adorable! This cute French inspired bistro was the perfect afternoon lunch spot. The bread is baked fresh daily and has that perfect crispy golden crust with the soft inside. Decor is inviting and makes you want to cozy up to enjoy a cafe and a chocolate croissant (also delicious!) I have a feeling my daughter and I will be regulars.
The ambience is so lovely! This place is definitely a new favorite for me. The coffee was gorgeous and delicious, and so was the jambon beurre. They bake the bread for their sandwiches fresh. The cakes were also delightful!
I fear writing this review because part of me would like to keep this little sweet place a secret, but it’s too special not to share! Although the prices are a little high, Le Vingt Trois is worth it! We’ve tried three different sandwiches there and they are all delicious, and the coffees and deserts are extraordinary! Limited seating but I have always been able to find a seat. Warm welcoming staff and the ambience is like a little hug from a friend. I highly recommend Le Vingt Trois bakery & cafe for a visit with friends or solo! I bet you will love it too.
A small, cute, quaint French café. Enjoyed our visit, just wish there was a bit more seating. Service was great.I had the Romeo & Juliet Latte with a croque monsieur, and my friend had the Beauty & the Beast Iced Latte, everything was delicious.
Discovered this place about six months ago and it quickly became my go-to coffeeshop in the Herndon/Reston area. Don't be misled by the strip mall environment it is found in - inside it has this warm, French provencal feel that is a great atmosphere to work or relax in. In addition, they have genuine French sandwiches like jambon beurre and escalope, as well as some American fare. Finally, the coffee selection is wide and delicious. What more do you need?
Nice little Cafe to make you forget you are in Herndon. The service was polite and fast. The sandwiches were very well made and a good break from the egg and cheese I eat everyday elsewhere.The coffee is something I would keep coming back for.
Very quaint and Great food
My SO and I are OBSESSED with Le23. The food is so good! The baguettes are so fresh and made so well. The baked goods are *chef's kiss* and don't get me started on the coffee. The coffee/espresso drinks are made to perfection. Every single time we've went it is an absolute pleasure. I can spend hours gushing about how perfectly the drinks are prepared.Please bear in mind, this is a small Cafe that does get quite busy. Sometimes orders will take a little longer than most expect but it is so worth it. (Perfection does take time ?) The staff is always so kind, sweet, and helpful. The atmosphere really that of a cute Cafe in France.If anyone is considering whether or not to go, dont think, just go! You won't regret it ?
Oh my, you must go!! The baguettes reminded me of France, and the whole experience left me happy. My friend said it was the BEST caramel macchiato she’s ever had, and the croque monsieur (grilled ham and cheese) was good. Came on a weekend and it was packed! Would definitely come back and recommend the place to others.
