Been a regular customer loving their Kapow, garlic sauce, drunken noodles and some more. Usually their fried tofu is the best but there are some days where it's just the opposite of best. Again, usually their spice level matches what we request, but there are some off days where the spice is one level higher than the requested. Overall it's a good restaurant for both eat-in and take outs.
Very good Thai food. Over the top service. The crispy chicken Basil has to be tried. Just Fantastic. Thanks for the great meal!
One of the best places for authentic Thai food; Pad Thai, Boat Noodles, Moo Yang, are all super! Papaya Salad is good, but the flavor was too mild for us.
Terrible customer service. I have a severe egg allergy and told them multiple times explicitly no egg in our food. The food arrived filled with egg. They proceeded to ask us what we could do but would not offer any sort of an apology. It seems like they do not care about customers anymore as I’ve been coming to this place for several years, but will no longer be a customer.
I often ordered from this restaurant in the past but I’m done. I understand how they had to increase their prices, but after spending more than $30 I’m still hungry. It’s not acceptable to me that they’re now using tiny plates.
Quality and quantity has been decreased. They also charged $1.50 extra for a very small quantity of extra rice which I understand could be the restaurant policy but it is not worth the price. There are many Thai restaurants in Herndon but I’m NOT COMING back here ever again.
As a Marylander who hates traveling into VA anywhere past Tysons, La Ong in Herndon is ABSOLUTELY worth the drive. Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in the DMV. The staff is incredible and provides service with a smile. The food quality and presentation is unlike any other Thai restaurant out there. For those questioning whether or not they should choose La Ong stop thinking and just GO!
Waitress's English was so bad that I'm not sure she understood what I was asking for (spicy) and instead my dish was very bland.
Best Thai food in N.Va- crispy Pork belly and the Thai boat noodle soup are Official. If you live near this place you don’t know what your missing!
The pad see ew was flavorful and the chicken was plentiful. I wish there was a bit more broccoli in this dish.
