We enjoyed our burgers tonight. Good, quality ingredients! The owner is very friendly. He came and checked how we liked the burgers and got our feedback on the menu change they did today. We liked the new menu as we liked their previous menu.
So my wife and I had burgers here today, we both got the Charred burger. It had to have been the best experience at a casual restaurant we've had. The burger took my personal number one spot of all burgers I've had at any restaurant. The burger is cooked over a wood fire. Honestly the burger tasted like little baby angles helped make it with the secret ingredient love with a dash of Jesus tears. The customer service was amazing, the owner/chef was the nicest person you would ever want to meet.P.S. we live an hour and ten minutes away and this will definitely be a once/twice a week situation. The only problem I have is that I can't give it 6 stars.
No where near as good as it used to be. My bun was still cold, order came with item I asked to leave and neither burger came with side pickle as it said on the menu. With the amount of choice there is for burger joints now, you could do better.
Absolutely loved the burgers and atmosphere! It's such a nice hang out spot or a great place to grab a quick bite for the family! I had the Three Little Pigs burger and it was delicious! The burgers are cooked over a wood grill vs a stove top. It adds such a great flavor to the burgers. Go see for yourself!!!
Went a couple months ago and loved it. Went again yesterday and was every bit as impressed. I like my burgers medium rare, and our mushroom Swiss burger was perfect. We shared that and their "crisps", their term for regular fries. Ketchup was too sweet but the fries were done very nicely. I'd like less salt, but my wife was happy.Few alcohol choices. The wife wanted a beer, but not an IPA, and definitely not a lite beer. She got a White Claw instead. I had tap water. This place isn't cheap. We spent about $25 including a 10% tip for essentially lunch for one.That said, the burger was flawless, with great flame roasted taste. We'll be back.
Loved this place! First time in Herndon and I was looking for a great burger place and found it! I tried the Roadhouse burger , requested it was cooked medium well , fries, and smoked dry rub chicken wings. It was EXCELLENT! Cooked to perfection. The fries were also salted perfectly. If you are in the area, you have to try Charred Restaurant if you want a perfect burger.

Cute burger spot! Fun industrial/rustic decor. I got the mushroom ? burger ? but there were hardly any mushrooms on it. Hubbs got the truffle ? but he said it didn't taste like there was any truffle on it .... Maybe they forgot?♀️. He also got the truffle fries ? and those were delicious! Plenty of flavor. Nice and crispy too. Good spot to curb the craving.
Most likely the best burger I have ever had! At least I can’t think of another better. The special firewood used under the grill gives a distinctive full flavor to the beef. All of the toppings are fresh. The French fries are crisp and piping hot. I will definitely return to Charred in Herndon. Oh, and the management is super friendly and genuinely wants to know that you are enjoying your experience. Highly recommend!!
I had high hopes for thia place. It was a cheat meal day. I actually skipped the place I was going to try and went here instead. I'm torn on if I should have or not. The menu looked fantastic. Food sounded amazing. Now as with most menus the food always looks better there than what you actually get. I get that however I ordered the roadside burger. Look like a thick juicy burger with a big piece of steak on it. Absolutely let's get that I thought. However, when I get the meal the burger was tiny and not even big enough for the bun it was on. There were two tiny pieces of steak on there and one piece of bacon. This place sounded like a meat lovers dream but I'm guessing due to covid they had to skimp dramatically. I just thought this was interesting after having a conversation with the owner before my order. He mentioned that he increased the portion size of the salmon to another customer. But yet I get this tiny burger. Not to mention they even got my order wrong. I did not want mayo and I wanted to add jalapenos they skipped both of those. The fries were fantastic and the flavor of the burger was great. But I'd almost say false advertising by a long shot.
