Has gone greatly downhill since my last visit. I usually get spicy strips, and today received some very cheap strips that you might find at a fast food restaurant like McDonald’s. A far cry from the typical strips you would get at Bonchon, will not be returning to this location.
Booked a little "staycation" in Herndon. Was going to try another restaurant called bb.q chicken but decided to play it safe and order from Bon Chon. We live in Woodbridge and the Bon Chon out there is always great. I SHOULD HAVE JUST TRIED THE BB.Q place. This order was HORRIBLE! I am EXTREMELY mad. $56 down the drain. The rice is so soggy my daughter looked at it confused. It's like clumped up, grainy mashed potatoes. The chicken is overcooked, rock hard, and nasty. I wish I would have read the reviews because others have definitely posted the same over several months and it appears no one is taking the complaints or reviews seriously as they continue to steal people's hard earned money and give them food that shouldn't even be fed to farm animals. This is ridiculous. How many reviews will it take for them to do something about this? I want my money back. Now I have to order something else for my family to eat when I shouldn't have to because I I paid $56 on this garbage. Do yourself a favor. Order somewhere else.I should have known better when I walked in to pick my order up and my feet/shoes kept sticking to the floor with sticky, sugary water. This place surely has not been inspected recently, and it shows.Run.
Korean fast food as one told me once. Food is great if you like fried chicken and drumsticks of many combinations. A must try if you haven't tried it before...
This bonchon is underrated food is good. I try to support them when I can. They are short staffed but still make super great food. And they are quick.
The worst boneless wings that I have in a while, probably the worst ever. I was so surprised by the flavor and the presentation that I called the restaurant to find out they changed the recipe over 6 months ago. I'm used to taking my friends to bonchon due to their quality and flavor, well today that is over. The wings look like over breaded nuggets half of the way covered with sauce. It was so bad that I ended up trashing 20 over my 24 wings order. Even the fries were not what they used to be. Fare well bonchon, I will miss you.
Been going to this Bon Chon for years and we’re disappointed in the quality of the wings today. They were dry/over cooked and not the crispy outside that Bon Chon normally has. Will try again but from the other reviews it appears this might be the norm for your location.
Chicken is very very oily and dry. The food is not fresh.Fried rice is very very very sticky, it does not taste good.
Good flavor......butttt way overcooked and dry. Centreville va bonchon similarly overcooked and dry. Likely my last visit.
I’m not sure the picture shows over-fried. Very hard, not crispy, hard like a rock, couldn’t bite, on top of that, meat dry like dried beef jerky. Worst ever Korean chicken wing ever tasted. Sauce not covered enough either. Waisting money.
This franchise is the worst in the area. Tastes nothing like their recipe. And everything was undercooked, I could taste raw batter on the wings. Corporate needs to get involved with the clear issues happening in the kitchen
