Watching the bartender putting on deodorant while standing behind the bar (in front of everyone) like she was at home made me remove 2 stars from this review. I don't know how to describe the actions of the food runner guy...other than to say he should have taken off that night. The super-friendly waitress who served our table of three is what gave this review at least 2-stars!!!
4 stars for the employees - 1 star for the experienceThe happy hour here is great, but a little confusing. The servers don't seem to know exactly what is included and it's not written anywhere so we all just ordered the cheapest beer. Bummer because the server is only losing out on a higher tips. Just write down what's included and hand it to each table as you seat them.The food is shockingly tasty, but a bit overpriced for the portions. I got the cesar salad one time (super tasty, but basically just lettuce) and the shrimp tacos the other time (also very tasty, but crazy small for the price).Overall, a great place if you're staying in a nearby hotel, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. It mostly just seems like poor management. The employees are all great and doing their best to keep things held together, but you can see that there's no clear direction or leadership. It's a bummer so see.
Pretty good food and drinks, I Love 5$ burgers on Tuesdays, only two pretty good desert options but apps are good and so are the entrees and drinks.Update: I went today 6/21/22 & got the happy hour half off app dry rub wings. I got the half off Tuesday burger the Apple Jam & a mojito & a margaritas & it was all so Amazing! Tuesday is the best day to go but I've never had a bad experience! Keep up the great job!Update: 5star 6/22/2022 I've been here way too many times & I've only had a small issue!
Well went here 2 weeks ago and the bartender added my total as her tip so my $45 bill turned into a $90 bill. I called 3 days later when I saw the charge and was told it would be fixed in 3-5 days, no fix. Called back and it had to go through corporate but the GM would call me back the same day or next day but never got a phone call. Called back the following day and was told the charge was being refunded it was just “getting cleared” with my bank and I’d see it in the next 2 days. Now it’s 15 days after I’ve dined there and I’m down $90 but at least my bartender got an extra 45 bucks that night!
We are delightful to announce this establishment has survived covid. However bartender service is extremely lacking (perhaps due to inadequate training) despite the servers' best attempts to get drinks out to people on time. We had a wonderful date night.
Best happy hour hands down!!!! The food is spectacular, especially the Buffalo chicken flatbread and the beef sliders with that amazing jam! We can’t get enough of this place. Kara at the bar is always there and always ready to get the party started. Love this place!!!
Friday evening happy hours is the place to be. Check out the menu for some tasty appetizers and flat bread pizza!
I'm assuming that Bar Louie is struggling a bit. We popped in because it was on the way home in a pinch and we've been to this location before. This time was different. There's not much to the menu and while it was nice that there was almost no one there during these covid times the food was just okay. We will probably pick something else the next time we're passing through.
