We were celebrating the start of Summer. The food was delicious and the service was great!!

Now I admit to enjoying a Turkish. I’m a coeliac so grilled meat, rice and salad is a great choice. It has a good menu and the staff are super attentive. Please note English isn’t always a first language amongst the staff, but that certainly isn’t a barrier to goo friendly service. The food is well priced and good quality. A go to in the Herndon area.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite pleasant with a very clean and upscale look. Not quite white tablecloth, but close.Service : I went over lunch and the service was fast and pleasant. They gave time when needed to look over the menu and were able to answer all of my questions.Food: the food itself was quite good! They started with a complementary bread basket with oil to go with it. The bread was wonderfully cooked and was a good indicator of the rest of the food. The dolma I ordered as an appetizer (stuffed grape leaves) were cold and likely earlier in the day to be refrigerated, but their taste was great and they definitely did not taste frozen. There were four to an order which would be a nice amount for two people if that were your only appetizer choice. The Turkish coffee was OK. The presentation was wonderful, but expect a small espresso shot sized cup thick with coffee oil as intended with a Turkish coffee. The main course was the Tektas spicy chicken as pictured. The chicken was cooked wonderfully and juicy for a chicken thigh. The cucumber tomato celery chopped salad on the side complements the spice of the chicken well. The rice is also cooked very well and I would definitely order this dish again after trying a few other dishes here.PRICE : considering the area this restaurant is in, the prices are actually pretty good. I would consider it a good value for the quality of food received.

Friday lunch. We made reservations but there was no crowd. Parking is plentiful but things get crowded outside the parking garage. Menu is very clear for folks not familiar with Turkish food. For those who are familiar, there is an excellant variety of appetizers and entrees...and desserts. My guest and I decided to share and appetizer plate for two. The waiter offered to tell the kitchen to create two individual plates. Food service was prompt and friendly. Other selections were Doner Kabob and Grilled Salmon. Portions were plentiful. Staff was attentive to a fault. For the first time in the 2 yr history of our lunch group, we unanimously ordered dessert and the warm fresh Baklava was outstanding. And the Turkish coffee was authentic and strong. Our lunch group can be picky and churlish, even grumpy. But praise for the Bistro was unanimous.

The prices here for the amount of food they give is a ripoff. Been to Turkish restaurants that have Adana kebab which was way way better for less than $22 and actually gave full sized kabobs. This place tired to cut corners by making the kabobs very thin and about 8 inches long. So technically your paying for nothing. The platter is full of rice which is not flavorful and the kabob is definitely a 4/10. Definitely will not be returning.

Best juicy chicken kebab I've ever had! Fresh homemade warm bread! Great veggies and rice! Super nice staff!

Really enjoyed the dinner at this place. Very friendly staff, Turkish people are very welcoming. I’ve been to Turkey many times and can tell that the food tastes authentic , delicious . We had mezze sampler , lamb shank , branzino, different kebabs. We also took some warm fresh baklava to go.The restaurant looks modern and clean , kid friendly. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious Turkish food, nice atmosphere and amazing customer service!! PS Ask the waitress for suggestions!!

Best Brazino you will ever have. We love the authenticity of the Turkish dishes. Waiters Yasin and Aououp were so friendly. I cleaned my fish! Sıcak ortam, yemekler ve servis mükemmel ?

I really enjoyed the Anatolian Bistro. My waitress was very helpful with my menu questions and helped make my meal selection be a nice one. The owner Mr Kulak is such a humble beautiful soul that made my dinner experience wonderful. He has quite a life story. I thank him for sharing that with me. Everyone could learn from him.I had the Lamb Shish Kabab meal and it was delicious with the homemade bread. After dinner had some of their yummy Baklava with some Turkish coffee. The gentleman at the next table over were having the lamb shank with some lamb gravy rice and vegetables which all looked really good. For me, I had a nice experience at this restaurant & I hope you will too. Tesekkurler to Cemal & his staff. God Bless!
