BLUF: Best dolmades I've ever had, and everything else is great too.I've ordered from Zorbas through GrubHub 4-5 times. I've also eaten at and ordered from many similar Mediterranean restaurants in the Richmond area. Zorbas is hands-down my favorite. I most often get the appetizer sampler and/or other appetizers, but have had 1 pasta dish too. Everything I've had was excellent, as well as well-packaged for delivery. Although the prices are in the moderate range (versus low), I can easily make 2 meals out of one sampler platter and the quality of fresh ingredients makes it well worth it to choose Zorbas over the competition. The last photo is day #2 so it's looking a little rough now lol - don't hold that against them.
Good, not great. Tsatziki way over salted.Edit: Nice response from owner appreciated. The tsatziki was salty to the point of being astringent, overpowering the sour cream, cucumber, and dill, so it may have been a prep accident with a batch. I'll give them another try.
The service was good for our very large table. I had the mussels appetizer ($12.99) and the Egg Plant Tower ($10.49), different, but delicious. My reason for my overall rating? They charged us for an extra roll. I can name three Greek/Italian restaurants that I've been to in the last three months, where rolls are brought out, gratis. I spent over $225 there, and they charge me for an extra roll? Very, very cheap.
I saw the sign and completely thought about about "My Big Fat Greek Wedding!"I know there's no association. This place was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere was loving. I went in the afternoon and I bet it looks better at night. It was not busy which I like because I was able to get a table quickly. I really loved how after appetizers, I had time to digest my food before eating my main course. Some places rush to get all the food on the table, but not here! I truly enjoyed myself! ?
Visiting from out of town. Saw the reviews and gave this place a try. The free bread and appetizer greek salad was great. Everything else fell flat and wasn't great. Server never came back to check on us once we got our food. We had questions about what we were served vs what we ordered but we couldn't get our servers atttion to address it. Very over priced. Left disappointed would not return.
The food is always delicious and plentiful. Interesting menu and daily specials. The desserts are homemade and yummy. I suggest if you are too full order dessert to go because you don't want to miss out. Excellent service too! Great place to unwind and simply enjoy. If you haven't been put it on your list, you will not be disappointed.
It was good, the dolmades was ok. I got the chicken gyro and that was good. Waitress was friendly and the place was clean.
LOVE eating at Zorbas. Definitely get the meatloaf. My go to meal every time.
Food are over priced.. i ordered a greek salad cost $16 (no meat) our server was rushing us to order after we told her numerous times that we are waiting for another guest. Our bread rolls was burned and dry had to ask for a new batch. Not impress
