Usually when I go to this restaurant for lunch the food is good and fast as I only had little time for break. Theres one waitress who is ok but the young boy is excellent. I went there recently and it would be my last. I walked in and saw the waitress see me walk in. I sat down and waited as it was more busy than usual. I want to point out that I was the only African American in the restaurant not to say that it was racial but that I stood out like a sore thumb. A man comes in behind me at she waits on him. Because of my limit time I get up to leave to walk past her but she says nothing. It's the worst feeling and not a huge restaurant.
I ordered pad see-ew with pork, Chinese broccoli and flat noodles(thai spicy). Pad see ew is usually a pretty mild dish but i wanted some spice and they nailed it! Perfect level of hot. I also got the fresh summer rolls, 6 dollars for 2 of them is as good a price as you will find ANYWHERE. This place is a gem, don't dismiss it. The thai iced tea balanced everything well. Lovely waitresses whose smiles were genuine. Love it. I will be back.
This place is absolutely fantastic. I've been going here about 2 years now and they are consistently delicious each and every time. For a real treat try the Yellow Curry noodles. It's almost like a noodle soup with curry broth, noodles, a protein, and vegetables. Great for when you are feeling under the weather or it is cold outside. 10/10 would recommend.
Quality has gone downhill. One piece of chicken in pad thai. There's more in $4 tom yum soup. I know chicken prices are higher but for $12 paid Thai there could be more than one piece. Value and taste is mediocre. I give two stars for ordering and retrieval process. Other than that, there are better Thai restaurants.
Truly authentic Thai taste here! I lived in Thailand for many years and my 10-year-old son is half Thai and we absolutely loved our first meal from here! I called in the order, was able to order everything in Thai (some things don't translate and also the best way to ensure they make it truly Thai style), and the service was very friendly when I picked it up. Took it home and watched my son devour it like I've never seen him do with any other Thai food in the US. That says it all for me as my son spent his first nine years growing up in Thailand. In his words, "this tastes like home". We'll definitely be back for more!
I have been eating here for the last 15 plus years. Food and service is the best in Richmond. The food is out of this world. The owner's are wonderful too.
I recommend it. It's good eats
Shrimp included a grand total of THREE shrimp and a pound of rice. Definitely not worth the price!?
Order two of your selection, as after you eat the first one you will want another one. Red curry could have been spicier and accompanied by JASIMINE rice. EPIC meal, worth it!
Great Thai! They downplay the spice tho, order one level hotter than you usually order. Thai hot was barely American hot.
