I always enjoy going to Terraza!! The service and food are always on point. You can never go wrong with a margarita flight and a delicious burrito.Consistency is key and I can say that Terraza hits it every time.
Decided to try out this place based on reviews and met a few friends to get drinks. I got 2 frozen margaritas (a $2 up charge to have it frozen btw) none of which tasted like there was any alcohol in them. After the first, I requested the second one be stronger but it tasted the same in my opinion. Salsa and guacamole tasted worse than what comes in a can. They forgot my friends tortillas for their fajitas. Drinks and food items just weren’t good. Service was ok, me and another paid in cash and they never returned with the change for either of us. Plenty of other Mexican cuisines in Richmond that you should try before wasting money on this place.
Terraza exceeded my expectations and has now become my most favorite Mexican Restaurant. The restaurant was clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. The food was flavorful and delicious! I loved the fresh salsa... It had just the right amount of cilantro, salt and spice. The chips are made fresh and are light and crunchy. The entrees came out quickly. Not only was the food presented well, it was delicious! Our server was polite and attentive, without being intrusive. I highly recommend Terraza!
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The staff are wonderful, the restaurant is beautiful and most of all the food is delicious. If you love spice I recommend trying Mimi spicy fajitas they are phenomenal. The carnitas and shrimp tacos are fantastic. Every meal I have had has been great, from the salsa to the end. Everything is fresh and flavorful

Salsa could be better - lacking in flavor (reason for 4 stars) and too much pepper. Pupusas were delicious. Margaritas were great. Jen's quesadillas were flavorful. Staff was very friendly.
We had a large party, 16 people and still had a great experience. The food is outstanding. There's not a bad item on the menu, and their margarita flights well worth the money.
I and a few friends from work went to Terraza for lunch yesterday. The food was delicious as always and the service was quick so we can get back to the office in a reasonable amount of time too. I thought I left my phone at the restaurant and turned back around, the staff was very friendly and helped me look for it, even pulled up the Find My Phone feature and we found it was in my purse all along. My mistake but they took the time and effort to assist me and were so nice about it all along. They really went above and beyond, that was very nice of them and just added to the already wonderful service they had provided whenever I’ve eaten there.
Our waitress was a dear. I've come here a few times and never a bad experience.
My first visit here was great! The waitress was extremely nice, my friend ordered a type of margarita that wasn’t listed on the menu and the staff accommodated the request perfectly and the food was spectacular too! I will DEFINITELY be back!!
