Wonderful lunch today! Stopped by after a Historic Garden Week tour because we noticed that this place was an event sponsor. Beautiful dining room with all of the gorgeous art. Our server behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. Even though she was busy, our order came out quickly. Delicious tuna melt. Planning to come back to try breakfast!
Sharon is the owner and she is not very nice and not ethical. Dishonest person and very mean. A big lie, The place has a big infestation problem. The food is bad, really bad. Not good. Very slow service and the staff turnover is beyond fast. Sharon can’t keep staff at all. No benefits, no pto, nothing. Bathrooms are never cleaned. Kitchen is gross
Love their breakfasts! We’ve eaten in, and had take out. Their breakfast sandwiches are the best! Haven’t had lunch there yet, but I’m sure it’s equally good. Great fresh, high quality ingredients.
A pleasant atmosphere serving a nice selection of coffees, wine, mixed drinks and beer. The staff were friendly attentive. The food was delivered to the table very quickly and was well presented.
We picked up the Grilled Cheddar Panini and The Westham and they were both so delicious and large portions. Pickup couldn't be easier, we just called and food was ready in 25 minutes. Definitely a hidden gem in Henrico
Casual, warm sophistication--that's what you can expect when you visit Shore Dog. In the morning, it's a perfect spot to grab coffee and meet friends or colleagues for a breakfast meeting. But don't miss dinner. During COVID, we made Shore Dog our go-to spot for delicious takeout meals. And now that they're open for indoor dining, we will definitely be back. Five stars aren't enough!
I ordered a large chai tea latte they asked me if I wanted whole milk, I inquired about the other options and chose oat milk. I asked if I was sweet because I didn't want it to be sweet. They said no. It's November and raining outside but they still made it iced even while not asking me how I wanted it. She seemed annoyed that it was made incorrectly, instead of making me a new drink she poured the iced chai latte that was already made into the steamer as it was, Probably diluted with ice and premixed with the oat milk. I was charged $5.60 while the 16 oz was $4.25. I anticipated therefore that I would be getting the 20oz. She poured my latte into thw 16oz and I was confused. I asked why I was charged more than a dollar over the 16oz price but was receiving the smaller size. She now informed me that there was an up charge for a choice of alternative milk, which she originally offered me without volunteering this information. I was now annoyed. But on top of that, I had asked originally how sweet it was because I didn't like it sweet. They said it came unsweetened including the oat milk. I said that perfect, can you just put in a little honey. It is almost too sweet to even drink.Not impress probably won't visit again
I like the coffee. It was really strong taste. Also they was very friendly.
This was my first visit. I only got a cup of coffee so I cannot speak for the food, but the coffee was good and the staff was friendly. Tables were spaced appropriately and it had a good atmosphere.
ShoreDog Cafe hosts a welcoming atmosphere with a wide selection of both caffeinated and alcoholic beverages. The food and beverages are always fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. The staff are phenomenal as well! Since moving to the area, this has quickly become one of my favorite places to hang out and get work done. If you are looking for a place to grab coffee with a friend, get some work done, or grab a drink at their happy hour I highly recommend!
