5/5…10/10 This is a late review from Valentine’s Day (peep the special menus) haha but everything was so good I had to be sure to post. This was our first visit and I definitely recommend them for any occasion or date night. The drinks were cute and delicious and the food was amazing. The pork arancini balls were top tier I almost ordered more to go. I finished allllll of my lamb chops and my boyfriend did the same with his steak. The Brussels were also a hit, we honestly had no leftovers to take home. Our server and all the staff we encountered were polite, I’d absolutely go again!!!!
Food was great. Even better was the effervescent personality of Blaze. She was extremely friendly and polite. She was a pleasure to meet. I look forward to eating here again.
My husband and I joined another couple for dinner recently. Although it was early-ish on a Wednesday night, the restaurant was crowded. Despite a busy dining room, service was friendly and prompt, and our sushi enjoyable, as always. If the music could have been just a bit more quiet, this would have been an A+ evening.
A decent restaurant at the price point. 2 apps, 4 entrees, and a bottle of wine ran $240 including 20% tip. Great staff (Travis was nice). Quality sushi, food, and drink options. Here's a few tips to make your experience better:- Reserve seats well in advance and ask for a nice center booth (this is thevmain issue).- Sashimi over sushi here (lots of rice)- The specialty rolls are good. 1 with an app is plenty of food.TLDR: If you want good sushi that's in a more fancy venue over YaYas cookbook this is a good bet. You cant really go wrong with any choice you make, theres just nothing jaw dropping here. If you get a bad table the ambiance is ruined. West Coast Provisions next door is a better bet IMO.Food: Our table mostly got sushi and I had the burger. Everyone said the sushi was nice but I did notice the rolls where very large due to the amount of rice they put in them. The ratio was a bit high. Burger was cooked to my liking and very tasty. The winner was the lobster Mac and cheese. I would honestly get just this and be happy here.Appetizers: We tried the 2 truffle options. Truffle salmon and the 3 piece truffle sashimi. The sashimi with salami or prosciutto on it was the absolute best. At $15 each piece is $5 though. I would order just 3 of the salami one hands down. The salmon was... well... salmon topped with truffle oil.Drinks: We enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Noir from Oregon. Very nice but the waiter poured it all out into 4 glasses instead of proper sized pours. Minor issue but lowers the classiness. I've had mixed drinks here before and they are well made.Dessert: It was my wife's birthday and they gave us a lava cake. This was very decadent and great representation of chocolate lava. Bonus point for the chocolate happy Birthday sign.Atmosphere: This is where they bombed. This would be a 4 star place if it weren't for the table we sat at (twice now). There are 2 rows of tables that are shoved against the side walls which have zero atmosphere. We got to hang by the wall with a single small led light 8 ft above us and the servers register 4ft behind us. All while looking at the really nice booths and exciting areas in the rest of the place. Essentially dark, and unexciting. Ruined it for us honestly. We booked a week ahead of time too.Staff: Profession, sharp, and personable. What you would expect at a place like this. No problems here.
Excellent sushi! We also had the truffle fries which were great. There was a small mistake with my sushi and they comped it and gave us all a free dessert. Will definitely be back!
Decent sushi, decent prices, good service. Nothing super special but good value for the money. Great atmosphere but lacking spirit. Trendy, no soul. I'd come here again if in the area.
My first experience at red salt was awesome!! Service was excellent drinks were excellent but the sushi was fabulous I have never had such good sushi anywhere along with the best presentation
This restaurant is extraordinary. Top tier customer service, as well as very tasty food. Be prepared to pay a higher premium for the steak and sushi. Still pretty affordable in comparison to a lot of restaurants. The only thing I noticed is the customers that come here all dressed up for the occasion. My friends and I came in blue jeans and hoodies due to us eating at a lot of locations we could care less. The issue is the looks but I guess money talks ha
Went to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday and it was such an amazing experience. The food was excellent and our server was so attentive! Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to go back
My wife and I went here for our wedding anniversary. We sat near the bar area and was able to watch the game which was a plus. We love football! Our experience was very good. Our waitress was nice and personable and gorgeous! The food was exceptional and better than expected. The atmosphere was right on time and we enjoyed every moment. Not anything I can say bad. Definitely will return..for more sushi!!
