the service is great, they are always paying attention that we’re okay on refills or if we need anything else. They have many options on the menu and they have many drinks, including non-alcoholic. My brother enjoyed the horchata a lot. The food is seasoned well and everything was delicious overall. I was recommended this place and I would recommend it as well. If you are looking for authentic and good Mexican restaurant, this is the place.

This place is tucked in the staples mill shopping center and was a nice place to have a quick dinner. I was there to also have a dinner meeting and this wasn't the best place for that given the small table and three people at our table. There wasn't alot of room to fit the plates let alone a ipad and notebooks.Anyway, the service was on point. Our server was very attentive, she came to check on us several times.I ordered Shrimp Bourbon. It had mushrooms, onions, shrimp, rosemary potatoes, a couple warm tortillas, refried beans, Spanish rice and shredded lettuce. It came on one of those sizzling pan/plates and I should have known, bit I started eating a potato and it seemed cool enough until I bit into it and it was hot as lava inside. It was so hot it brought tears to my eyes. I literally scalded my mouth. Was it good? Yes, but it's hot as fire so wait awhile before you eat! I also has an Arnold palmer drink. Iced tea and lemonade, it's just so perfect together.Overall, I liked this place alot, service, and food were really good, I would definitely eat here again, I just won't order anything on a sizzling plate.

It is clean, pleasant and authentic. I am so glad I didn’t just get tacos here. The whole talk page dish was superb. The waitresses all were friendly, polite and quick. Will come back for sure.

My favorite restaurant near my home! Food is always great, service is great as well! And super affordable!

One of our favorite places to eat. The quality of food is on point. We’ve ordered out and also been in restaurant, both times service and food was amazing. The staff and management are friendly and courteous.Only con so far we’ve experienced is when we’ve eaten in the restaurant the time waiting for someone to come to our table to take our orders, refill drinks, bring check, etc can be lengthy BUT this could be a result of lack of staffing as with most places these days.Definitely worth going. Everything we’ve eaten has been absolutely delicious.

Popped on to try this place for lunch. The decor is cool, love the chairs and painted horses. Service was friendly and fast. Chips were fresh and warm. The food is fantastic. You can tell the beans are not from a can, delicious and the salsa has a great smoky twist with a nice little kick. My daughter had the beef chimichanga and said it's the best she's ever had. Can't wait to visit Potros again!

Lunch on a weekday. What we liked: 1. Plenty of free parking 2. Nice ambience 3. Clean dining room 4. Clean restroom (at least the women's)--that's all I visited 5. Nice changing table for infants in the women's restroom 6. Excellent service by Jacky; thank you Jacky. Smiling, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. 7. Delicious margarita 8. Lunch margarita specials. About $3, but it was served in a martini glass--smallest margarita I've ever had in my life, and believe me, I've consumed many. What we didn't like: 1. I searched and searched that menu for pork chili verde. Jacky confirmed they don't offer it. 2. So then I searched for a chicken enchilada special on the lunch menu. They don't offer that either, though you can put together a similar plate on the pick three, but if you get two enchiladas (my usual) then it's rice or beans, not both. Disappointing. 3. Searched for Speedy Gonzalez. Again, they don't offer it but you can cobble something together using the pick three, but you can't get rice and beans (that would be four items). 4. Menu was overall a bit funky and disappointing. 5. Refried beans--taste like they come from a can. I did not say they come from a can. I said they taste like it. 6. Cheese dip (the white stuff paired with complimentary chips) has a distinct sugary finish. Odd, just odd. Would we return? No.

Carnitas tacos were amazing! Sangria margarita was good and strong. No wait at all to sit down, all wait staff was very nice!

Good food. Best Mexican place I've tried in Richmond so far.

Great Mexican food, fast friendly service
