We've had delivery from Mi Jalisco quite a lot, but it was our first time dining in recently. The place was bustling on a Friday night. They were out of clean silverware! They quickly found us some when we asked. Nonetheless: minimal wait time, efficient service, and good food. This is a neighborhood American-Mexican place in a strip mall in a residential area, so don't expect haute cuisine or ancestral Oaxacan dishes. It's the usual burritos/enchiladas/taxis menu. That said, it's done very well, and sometimes that's just what hits the spot. We'll come back.
I read several reviews of this establishment which were very fairly positive so we decided to check it out. I have been going to Mexican Restaurants in town for 40+ years and this was BY FAR the WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. The Margarita tasted like Lysol. The food was cold and bland. The service was literally the worst I have ever had at any restaurant of any kind. This place is a JOKE! The lettuce was brown. I am literally in shock at how bad this pace was. I have never experienced anything this bad. PERIOD> My father lived in a nursing home and they used to have "Mexican night" a couple times a month. That was better than this place. I just can't imagine how things could have gone so badly. Needless to say, I will NEVER be back again. EVER!
I have eaten here probably 15 times in the last couple years and have always loved it, but last nite was disappointing. The strawberry margaritas were sent back 3 times because they just tasted like sweet sugar and alcohol, no fruit or lime or sour mix flavor at all- we finally just got bottled beers. Then I ordered stuffed jalapeños and they were actually served cold, not even warm. The employees were nice, but there must have been a change in ownership, management or they are trying to cut costs and that has cut taste also.
The service here is great and is very fast. The food tastes great and comes out quickly. The portions are huge and every time we leave full.
Eaten here several times and the food is always good. Friendly service and reasonably priced.
Good food, incredible portions, but every time we order out the chips are hard and stale. When we eat there it’s fine. But I hate paying for a large chip when they are all stale.
I have eaten here at least 10 times and have never had a bad meal. All of the food is very tasty without being overly salty and the prices are more than reasonable. Almost without fail I come home with left overs due to the portion sizes. It is a favorite of my kids as well.
Nachos, super tacos, quesadillas, grande sampler, all fantastic and have been ordered multiple times. Always quick and delicious!
Wonderful New Mexican restaurant. Great staff too.
The food was well cooked. Took longer than expected. Waiters are attentive.
