they use microwaves…. ghetto. obviously the food taste like microwaved food so it was over cooked. they don’t know i’m latina & speak spanish so i over heard them gossiping when i sent the tamales back they also purposely kept the tamelas charge on the check when they gave it to us... we asked them to remove it. they removed it but still over charged us……
Tried it for the first time and you gotta go!Polite staff, fast service, GREAT food. All the meat is so flavorful and the texture is perfect. Fair prices, strong margaritas. This will be a regular spot for us!
I got the quesabirria tacos and my boyfriend got the chicken tacos. Everything was good except for the heavy amounts of onions in everything. Next time I will be requesting no onions. Very nice and clean establishment. Staff is friendly and attentive.
The tacos were okay. When I ordered, I was looking at their old menu (it was priced at $11.95 before) and didn’t realize their lengua tacos price rose to a whopping $15.95 (with tax it was $17) until I got to the counter. The portions got smaller and the taste was just medicore so it wasn’t really worth $17, especially when I’m using that much to buy lunch. The person is very nice and courteous though.
This is some of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever tasted. The tongue tacos are on point. Melt in your mouth delicious! Nice music! The food make you groove while you eat....I wanted to stay and eat some more....If your craving Mexican food this is my first choice....The food made my girlfriend and I smile while we ate.....You need to, have to, got to go here......
Awesome hidden gem serving authentic, great food. The quesabirria. Stop, go no further until you try that. They slow cook the beef for hours, loads of flavor. Burrito Maria and Special Maria's both are excellent - can't wait to try the rest of the menu!!
Really delicious food. Lengua tacos aren't dry like at other places I had before. Quesabirria tacos and pork tamales are amazing! Horchata is very good as well!

Saw the 5 star reviews and stopped—-new restaurant, sandwiched between two Asian restaurants, not visible from Broad Street. Worth looking for. It’s small, about 7 tables/booths inside and 2 small tables outside. Scrupulously clean. Somewhat darkFood fantastic. I had the tamale lunch special. It arrived at the table well presented. Tasted great!!!Excellent service.Deserves all the 5 stars that made me look for them. Way beyond what I expect in a small strip mall restaurant
I've gone twice and each time, the food was excellent. With each bite, I was filled with joy and flood with happy memories. The quesabirra was exquisite and so was the torta. I would recommend this to every person if I could. It will be my go to place for actual Mexican food for now on.
