They close the lobby super early any chance they get and blame it on being short staffed when really they are just being lazy. They close the lobby and then you can see like six of them standing around inside talking to each other near the drive-thru window. It's not a one-time thing. It's an everyday thing. And it's absolutely because they are lazy. Drive by one evening to have a look and you'll see the lobby locked up and you'll see them OVERSTAFFED. Seriously. Try it. Drive by any night of the week. They do it every single night. They are just lazy. I can tell several stories about their terrible customer service too, but this review is already kind of long.
Waited 20 minutes for cinnamon twists and they had a very badly nasty burnt taste and absolutely no cinnamon. Waited 20 minutes for trash.
There must be new management or staff. First time in years without a rack of errors. Normally there are always orders done incorrectly, sauces forgotten, horrible wait time. Not so during my last trip. Our crunchwrap, cheesy gordita crunch, taco, nacho and drinks were all perfect. Only minor complaint is the potatoes were a tad overcooked. Congrats to whoever is getting this place up to par. It's lovely to be able to look forward to my order vs dreading finding out what may possibly be screwed up this time. Props to the employees currently there that seem to actually care about accuracy and quality. Thank you. It really does make a difference.
I do not recommend this location AT ALL. Seriously, don't waste your time here. I know fast food places are typically known for their mediocre service and even getting things messed up from time to time, but this place makes the fast-food restaurants with the worst reputations look like 5 stars establishments. The evening/night staff are the absolute worst. Totally rude, very negative attitudes, bad customer service/communication skills and clearly could care less about doing a good job. I will even go as far to say that is feels like some of the employees seemed to want to be confrontational with customers, as if that is the norm there. They come off very hostile and ready to get mouthy about things, even if you haven't given them a reason to. I have been nothing but professional with these unprofessional employees. I do doordash deliveries on the side and I completely understand long waits and low staffing issues, but that doesn't appear to be an issue here. Matter of fact, they seem more than efficiently staffed with more people working most nights than the other fast-food places nearby.. Every single time I pick an order up from there it is either wrong, cold, or they claim to have no record of it despite it being on the dasher app as plain as day. I end up having to cancel these orders half the time because of their mess ups, which impacts my rating. Then I hear from my customers I deliver to that they know they are taking a risk ordering from this location. If Taco Bell had any sense about them, they'd send in their regional manager to straighten things out, because clearly whoever the General manager is, either doesn't care or is part of the problem. Good employees are a reflection of good management, and the same can be said about bad employees reflecting bad management. I know this seems like a harsh review, but this is the result of 2 months of witnessing really piss poor service here. Tonight's experience was just the icing on the cake.Nonetheless, the location on South Main Street doesn't seem to have the problems this location has. I pick up there all the time with ease and very rarely have an issue. So, if you must eat at Taco Bell, I recommend making the drive to the one on the other side of town. These guys at the East Market Street Location apparently can't get it together or just don't care enough to try. I hope it gets fixed soon, but I wouldn't hold my breath. This location has been in decline for a while now. I will never pick up another door dash order from this location again nor will I go here for myself anymore.
This location has far to many competitors to do so badly. Family of 4 order consisted of 54 dollars in food due to the modifications including making regular items "supreme", as well as swapping ground beef for chicken, and adding "extra toppings". First, when entering the lobby a gentleman on the line barks out that you can only order from the kiosk three or four times even though we were already at the kiosk and in the process of ordering. Second, wait 20 to 25 minutes or so for our order. Third, they used old, cold, stale items including potatoes and gordita shells. Finally, had to repeatedly ask for our cups in order to get our drinks. I had to have them remake 5 simple items that weren't even modified due to the lack of freshness of the ingredients and the fact that we couldn't even chew some of the food. I understand being short staffed and overwhelmed, but that shouldn't mess with the quality of the food when it is almost all precooked and reheated in boiling water. Next time we will choose to eat next door at Cook Out. Get it together at this location Taco Bell.
I love Mexican food but it was a little bit disappointing when at the handicap entrance no one had shoveled away the snow for handicapped people to get across without possibly harming themselves. Fortunately though my mother didn't get hurt even though she had to take a chance to get inside the lobby and eat.
I travel for work and have lots of hotel stays. I use delivery services such as door dash often and every once in awhile i decide to give this taco bell a chance only to remember they will never add the drink to the combo or sauces to the bag about 3/4 of the time. Maybe ordering in person is ok but I dont recommend getting it delivered.
Worst staff ever. They are busy but enough time to be on their phones while everyone is standing there waiting for their food. 30 mins later still no food. I am not sure if Taco bell fast food chain has lost its values. It used to be nice and easy to order and get your food. Now, it seems like we get no help from the staff.
We ordered via the kiosk and when we received our order we realized they had forgotten to give us our drink. We grabbed that, but then later when we were eating our food we realized the one grilled cheese burrito was not the one with the steak, like we had ordered. The employees were loud and very chatty/dramatic. If they were paying more attention, things would have been accurate. BUT all that said to say this, our food was good.
I had to wait half an hour for my food and Only received it then because I went back around and showed them the receipt at the window! The food itself was fine and they got the order correct. I think they simply forgot to make it.
