Yummy! Just visit Harrisonburg and stop by this restaurant. Fried Tofu is great, thai ice tea is the best, and papaya salad is my favorite. Also, banana ice cream for dessert. Restaurant is very clean inside and great service! Love it.
Absolutely delicious. Went there last night for dinner with a few friends. We got dumplings, entrees and the custard. All delicious and reasonably priced! And our waitress was so friendly. Could not recommend more!!

Wow! What a gem! Delicious, authentic food with fast, friendly service. Stopped for lunch on a road trip and will be saving this place for the next time! Steamed dumplings were meaty, flavorful and obviously homemade. Pad See Ew used the perfect wide, flat noodles. Kwa Mee was amazing. You're taste buds will do a happy dance after eating here!
We just finished lunch here and it was the best meal we've had on our journey so far. This was such a lucky find for us, we exited expecting to settle for Taco Bell but stumbled across this gem. Family owned, cloth table spread, a ton of variety in their offerings. If you're vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or all of the above, they have something delicious for you. We will absolutely be coming back next time we're driving through. YUMMMMMM!
Really good food! Have only tried the pangang curry, but looking forward to next time. Do try the custard for dessert. Excellent!
I am from out of town and am a conousuiere of thai food. And Siang Khene Thai is amazing. This place switched owners in February and is now better than before. I always stop here when I drive past Harrisonburg. I rate them a 10. Yes, that means equal to the best thai food I have ever eaten. Today we ate the pad see ew, panang curry, and pad thai, as well as the chili & basil chicken off the Laos menu. All dishes were excellent. The chili & basil chicken was perfection! This place can be a little tough to find, but don't give up. There is no Thai food in central or southwest VA that even comes close. And the owners are super kind and friendly too.
Siang Khene pad-Thai is my favorite meal. I just moved to Virginia from Oakland, CA a little over a year ago, and Siang Khene has no competition in Harrisonburg. The next closest is Thai Staunton, but Siang Khene is better, IMO. The staff is super friendly and pretty cool, too. It's worth finding your way there. No joke, I get food here an average of twice per week.
I’ve never come across a more wholesome couple than the couple that runs this place. They even offered us an umbrella because it was raining 10000/10 experience- literally cried on the way home. Next time will accept his umbrella. Food is soooo so so so good also.
