The coconut Italian ice reminds me of the same tropical coconut flavor that I would get from Puerto Rico as a child. #Nostalgic The lady was super nice and patient with us, she stayed after closing and still served me and my daughter. They are the best and anybody that’s considering trying should definitely try!

We’re visiting from another state. My daughter and I were riding around when out of the blue I had a taste for Italian ice. She asked Suri for help and with just 15 minutes to spare before closing time, we were headed to Scotty’s. This is the BEST Italian ice we’ve ever had! We plan to come back tomorrow with the rest of the family.
My husband and I stumbled on Scotty’s Italian Ice at the Spring Celebration in downtown Dayton. I’ve spent our three-year marriage talking about and searching for the lemon Italian ices I used to have at the beach as a kid. Although they didn’t have lemon at the time, my husband and I were shocked at how smooth, flavor-rich and refreshing the treats are. We’ve made it a point to go each week since to buy a pint or more for the hot summer days. Our favorites are lemon, blueberry mojito and tropical flavors. This business is such a welcome addition to Harrisonburg and worthy of being your new summer tradition.
We tried Scotty's Italian Ice for the first time this week, and LOVED it! We loved how light and refreshing both flavors were (we had rainbow and Strawberry Peach Lemonade).The staff was super friendly, and we look forward to trying more flavors!
