Love Rocktown Kitchen - the food is delicious and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. We made a late reservation for graduation dinner for 38 people. Mira bent over backwards to accommodate us. Anya, made sure things ran smoothly and all our guests were taken care of. Dinner was off the charts good. The perfect ending to our time in Harrisonburg. Rocktown is one of the many things we will miss about " The Burg " Thank you Mira, Anya and Staff for making our Graduation Dinner a very memorable one.

Some of the worst food I’ve ever had. Soup had big chunks of fat. Sweet potato fries appeared to have been cooked days before. Small portions and Wayover priced. Service was poor. $.50 for tartar sauce. Really disgusting and disappointing. Owner should be ashamed.

Usually trip advisor hits the mark but off with this restaurant . The decor is cool- industrial / farmhouse .Food was average , expensive for portion size . My husband ordered wings for an appetizer - there were 4 wings for $14. Was charged $16 for margarita - asked for salt got sugar not a big deal but not what I ordered . Crab cakes were small , got about 12 shoe string sweet potato fries which were room temp with a bean salad that was ok.Went on Wednesday, maybe this was an off day ?‍♀️

April 15th Friday night rush hr dinner. First time the meal was not spot on. Fish was way over cooked would have sent back but was with friends and I didn’t want to be that guy. Everyone else enjoyed their meal.Keeping my stars at 5 because this place is awesome they just missed the mark tonight. Will be back!Fried oysters,Red beet and arugula salad with the French dip(1/2) and mushroom soup OMG!Outstanding meal from the chef

One year ago, my wife and I dined at Rocktown Kitchen, so since we were coming into town we decided to dine there again. RK is, without a doubt, an outstanding restaurant. Our waiter ( Philip) was great…very helpful and attentive. Cocktails were excellent. We split the fresh green salad. Fantastic dressing. My wife ordered the surf and turf. The lobster was perfectly cooked as were the small filets. My halibut with cauliflower risotto was excellent. We finished by sharing the crème brûlée. We would highly recommend Rocktown Kitchen to anyone visiting Harrisonburg. If you’re local and haven’t dined there, we’ll you don’t know what your missing.

Good food and service. The surf and turf special was pretty tasty and the cocktails were as well. Parking was very easy via the lot across the street.

Start to finish, 5 stars. The staff was fantastic- very friendly and checked in frequently. The atmosphere was very down to earth and inviting. I had the meal of my life here... the steak was cooked perfectly to my preference, the portions were generous and the drinks were on point. Dessert definitely didn't disappoint either. We will be back soon!!

My experience at Rocktown Kitchen exceeded my expectations. The staff was pleasant from beginning to end. The food was fantastic. We ordered the Oysters, Buffalo Wings, and the Reuben sandwich. Every single item was fresh, flavorful, and fixed to perfection. Our server Nate was professional, sharing the specials, offering beer samples, and checking on periodically. Great job Nate, thank you for making our visit great.

Service was great and food was very good. Had shrimp and grits along with a fresh mozzarella burrato appetizer. They had a good selection of drinks with local options. Will return when in Harrisonburg.

Their food tastes pretty good, but it’s a wee bit $$$. They used to serve gourmet grassfed burgers for dinner. Now they don’t have it on the dinner menu, but they offered to make burgers for us anyway. They tasted pretty good, but the bread was not a brioche bun like they used to have a couple years ago.HOWEVER! I still give them 5 STARS because no one was masked and it was so refreshing to see human faces of the waiters, the lady at the door, and other restaurant personnel! We loved it!! Please keep it that way!
