This was my first visit to this particular Qdoba restaurant. The line staff was kind and welcoming quick and efficient. I had the grilled steak fajita quesadilla and it was delicious. The yummy grilled steak along with the toppings they put in the quesadilla, including the nicely grilled sliced peppers etc made for a wonderful meal. The friendly staff asked good questions and made you feel welcomed. They also worked extra hard since the ice machine was not working to bring you ice from the back for your cold beverage. I will certainly be back for another visit.
I watched what appeared to be the manager berate a polite, inquisitive food delivery driver and it was completely out of line. While I was eating, I watched a food delivery driver wait for like 30 minutes for an order as people poured through the door ahead of him and got their order made first. The driver asked to speak to the manager because it was obvious they were skipping his pickup order until is was more convenient. The manager confirmed that his employees were supposed to make the orders in the order the tickets were received, but sad that he wasn't going to correct the employees because they were "working hard". The manager told him in a disgusting tone that if he didn't like it, don't pick up there anymore. The driver asked for the owner information and the manager said they don't give it out and that it wouldn't matter anyway. The driver was polite the entire time and simply left defeated. My heart broke for him. Those drivers aren't paid enough to be treated like that. The manager spoke to him like trash. And, the driver was right! He was skipped for AT LEAST 20 minuets! If that's how management treats delivery drivers, this business is terrible. These drivers get paid very little and risked their lives to feed the community during the heights of the pandemic. I'll never come back to this establishment and I'll be telling ALL of my family in Harrisonburg not to order delivery food from this establishment. Not only are they inhumane, rude and indifferent to the delivery drivers, they make them the absolute last priority, so your food delivery will take FOREVER!
They don't make the tickets in order. I wanted 25 minutes for a carry out order and watched them cycle through customers ahead of my existing order the entire time. I spoke to the general manager and he said his employees are working hard so he's not going to speak to them about how they should make the tickets in the order received. He said if I don't like it, don't pick up there. He said there is no use calling the owner because "it won't make a difference." He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I won't be picking up there ever again. If you get take out from this place and it takes an hour it's because of this rude, unprofessional individual's poor leadership. He isn't the type of educated, professional person that should be running a restaurant. Some people's greatest aspirations should probably end at line cook.
The only reason I am leaving two stars is because I love Qdoba as a company. Literally my favorite. I online ordered yesterday, and then received an email saying my order was cancelled. I called the store and they said they didn’t deliver in store so the order was cancelled. Then I received a call a few hours later asking if I was coming to pick up my order…? What? Currently still waiting for my already charged order to drop off my bank account. THEN this morning I tried to come in to get lunch, and the doors are locked at 10:45. Update your hours if you don’t open at 10:30. I have never had such an inconsistent experience in my life.
Got there at 9pm, 1 hour from posted close but it seemed like they had already closed shop. Outside lights were out and even the inside was dark besides the counter. Chairs all stacked up. Place looks like it should just be closed down permanently. Food was cold definitely worse than any other QDoba I've been too. Just sad.
They make some pretty soldi Mexican food. Nothing to write home about. The people that work here are nice, and I would recommend this place over Chipotle or Moe's.
The Impossible plant based meat here is delicious. I've never had a bad meal at this place. Been eating here for years.
Worst Qdoba I’ve ever been too. Just go to Chipotle around the corner.There’s so many things that are the worst about this Qdoba, but the worst thing is this whole “Order online only” thing they do. People legit have to wait at the door in the cold for someone to open it up. I literally watched 5 people drive to Qdoba, wait to get in and then just drive to Chipotle because no one answers the door. “Order online only” legitimately makes no sense! If I’m at the store and no one is inside and 3 people are working why would I be able to order in person?Well today I asked the employee why it’s like this and I was assuming I was going to get the normal “Oh pandemic” talk, BUT NO! It’s not even that. The employee said they’re doing this because they’re short staffed!?That makes zero sense to me! So because your shirt staffed families have to wait outside in the cold for someone to open the door?Because your shirt staffed, you can only order online!? Is that to show the amount of orders you get? It makes zero sense. The funny thing is it’s been like this for months.So just do yourself a favor and go around the corner to Chipotle. You can walk inside and order your food like a normal human being.
I’m a door dasher. Was screamed at by the young girl with curly hair and a slim build. Several other dashers said she was nasty to them as well. What a shame. I used to say such good things about this place.
Food is good and the staff is friendly but not sure if explicit rap should be played
