I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn near this restaurant. I ordered food delivered to my room— the fish and chips. When Uber Eats driver failed to bring utensils, condiments, etc., the very considerate owner, Brad, brought these to me himself. Good American standard fare!! Make sure to order directly from the restaurant to avoid Uber Eats aggravation.

Quick little stop here, we just so happened to hot happy hour which is 12-8 daily! Awesome! The food was excellent! Brittany was a great waitress! We will try to return!!

My wife had been wanting to try Sipe's because of her former students is the proprietor and we were not disappointed. I opted for the "Bull in the Burg" sandwich which is sliced prime rib with grilled onions and cheese, with both BBQ and horseradish sauces on a great sourdough roll...and I was so fixated on eating every bite of the sandwich, I don't actually recall what the wife and boys had. The restaurant is clean and well decorated, if a bit darkish, but it is also well-themed. This is my first choice now for "non fastfood" in and around Harrisonburg!

Went to Sipes with a couple of friends. The service began good but as the place got busier, we got lost as customer. Always had to ask for a waiter a few times to get another drink. We ordered nachos that never came to the table so obviously forgot about the food. Had to ask 3 people for a check and then when we got it and paid for the check we THEN had 3 waiters that said one bill was not paid and brought it over. Really... they could have made more money for the night if they would have just been tentative to us. They were only attentive when we were leaving. Terrible service and will not be back. We all live in the area. Very disappointing.

Chose the Sipe's Burger, a delicious grilled burger loaded with lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon and pimento cheese. The cheese was lightly toasted. I ordered sweet potato fries too. The burger was delicious and so big, it was hard to get my mouth around it. The fries didn't need any sauce. They were breaded and deep fried with a sweet and spicy finish. Others in our party chose the cheese quesadilla and the oyster dinners. It was a comfortable atmosphere with friendly service. The burger alone is worth a return trip!

We like to eat at local restaurants when we travel, and happened to notice Sipe's while looking for a Dollar Tree. The food was very good and the drink prices were even better. Sipe's is essentially a sports-type bar with seating at the bar and across a partition away from the bar. My wife had their salmon and it was delicious. I had French Dip - also very good. Both were priced right.

I attended a paint nite event there. The service all through out the evening was great. Great food, drinks and service. Oh.....And the Sriracha Pimento Cheese Burger....... Oh My!!!! I have found my new favorite burger in town!! and even Karaoke afterwards. A whole evening of great memories! Check them out definately!!

Great coffee!
