Okay... I understand you've been to one McDonald's you have been to them all... But hear me out.We pulled up (2 lines, 5 cars total) it went so fast. I wish I knew the girl on drive thru. She was fast, prompt, kind.Up to the window, the cashier was pleasant, too our payment so quick and professional.Up to the next window, the next employee was right there with our food, before handing it to us she reconfirmed what it was with a smile and sent us on our way.We pulled out of the drive thru and my husband looked at me, I looked at him... And we both looked back to make sure we weren't at Chick-fil-A for how fast that was. For real. Fantastic job!!
This is a standard size McDonalds with two drive-thrus. Only one worked at the time we were there. We got dessert after a long day on the trails of the Appalachian Mountains.Recommended for regulars
Last week I ordered a BACON mcdouble and got no bacon. Of course lobby is closed so you can't run in with a complaint so we had to wait 30 minutes in drive thru AGAIN. Got a new sandwich with half a slice of bacon and mayo and ketchup all over the wrapper. Today ordered a hamburger with ketchup and EXTRA pickle. Got 1 pickle. That's every time. Pickle shortage? ?♀️
Lobby is closed so drive thru takes way too long now. Sometimes 30 minutes. Do better.

I'm from Winchester Virginia & see my Neurologist in Harrisonburg Va. so before I head back I always grab a bite & the McRib sandwich ? is one of my favorites. They only have it for a short time but the BQ with pickle & onion is a awesome combo ? go grab one today just had to take some pics of the beauty of the color of fall that was in their parking lot.
They are always friendly and work very hard there. As of today, I will have handed out 4083 cheeseburgers to the homeless that were purchased from this store! Thank you for your hard work ?
Drive through only. The McDonald's on port republic rd .offers dine in . This doesn't make sense to me, Am I missing something ? Both stores are not more than 3 miles from each other.
I directly asked for condiments when ordering!! So instead of getting 3 I asked for, I didnt get any at all!! The dining room is Not open as the web site states. So I have to wait in drive thru for condiments!! Which then the food will be cold. We all know how long drive lines are! Signed Karen!!! .
A daily customer of this location since it opened. For a long time service was top notch; consistently fast & friendly. But now it's pretty bad. About 1.5 years ago this location's customer service began a downward spiral. Now, any time of day, expect cars wrapped around the building due to slow service. For the past few months they only have 1 of 2 drive thru lanes open which compounds the wait time and indicates an employment/staffing issue at the store. The customer facing employees are lacking very basic customer service skills (welcome, please, thank you, have a nice day, clear annunciation) and if there's a mix up with the order do not expect a "sorry about that, we'll fix that for you ASAP" but rather you'll get either cluelessness or a defensive attitude for the store error. C'mon franchise owners. You can do better. We sympathize with the current labor supply/demand economy, but the regional manager at this location needs to do better and improve quality control during hiring process. You know what they say about one bad apple... (it spoils the cart)
