The food was good overall, but not outstanding. I ordered a steak to be cooked medium+ and it came medium rare, so that was disappointing. But it was very tender. Had a seasonal berry salad which was very good. Husband had the salmon tartar which he said was good. Creme Brulee was very good. Lime cheesecake was average at best. The service was very nice but sometimes very slow. Could be due to staff shortages but I'm not sure. We were not in a hurry so it didn't really matter for us. I don't think it was worth the amount of our bill over $200.
The restaurant is in very cool old warehouse and is laid out nicely. We were seated in the lounge/ bar area which is nice. The table we were seated at was incredibly wobbly and so tilted that our water glasses would slide. We spent the meal trying not to lean on the table too much for fear it would tip. The waitstaff noticed the issue but offered no solution or option to move. I could have insisted but I didnât want to be a pest. The food was great. My duck breast was cooked to perfection, although the smallest Iâve ever been served. My daughter had chicken breast and it tasted great but was very dry and the price didnât reflect the quality. My wife had the stroganoff which was very good and a very generous portion. We both had cocktails that were very good and well made. The waitress was great, her snake I canât recall. I would like to give local chop another shot if I find myself in H-burg. Almost forgot, there is very little parking so plan to arrive early if you have a reservation, youâll be lapping the block.

Food was very good and fresh. Priced decently, if anything the sides were a little overpriced. Service was OK, but could've been better. We had to ask for bread, ask for my son's drink. Table wasn't adequately cleared before dessert. For the price, we expected more. I would go back but was not my favorite experience.
Cool environment, nice bar with inventive cocktails. Food was well prepared, slightly salty, but full of flavor.
Food was all around great! Good selection and variety of options with an easy to understand and decipher menu that allows for lots of flexibility without being overwhelming. Creative plates without being too much to comprehend for your average diner and definitely what you would expect from a chop house. The dessert menu was the only real dissapointment. Get some variety for the after dinner treats! Great service and hospitality all around.
We had the nicest evening . The food was outstanding . The kindness of the staff and manager to our 17 year old autistic grandson was above and beyond anything we anticipated. He felt so welcome and comfortable . It was really a special evening . Thank u
