I can't say enough good things about this place. Plenty of space, awesome waitress, and great food. I had the chicken and waffle sandwich and my girlfriend had the smoked turkey breast platter. We also had the Virginia whiskey sampler. We also had the brussel sprouts for an appetizer. Good food all the way around.My sandwich was awesome. You could tell the waffle was fresh and also the side of broccoli salad was good.
This place was a really great choice for dinner. Upon arrival, we noticed the place is pretty large and there is plenty of seating. Our waitress was phenomenal and everyone in the restaurant was friendly. The Mac and cheese bites were amazing. My brisket sandwich was loaded with flavor! Lastly, we had the peanut butter Oreo pie and it was a wonderful way to end the meal. I would highly recommend this place to people.
We came to see Tim McGraw in Virginia and decided to grab some lunch here. The establishment is very clean and well kept. The menu was small but I was pleased with everything I ordered. I ordered a side of brussel sprouts and it was huge! I didn’t even need to order the appetizer. The broccoli salad and the pasta salad were also very tasty. The burger was cooked just the way I wanted it. The portion size of the food is well worth the cost! Everything was flavorful and the food came out rather quickly. It was rather difficult trying to find a place to park, but other than that, I highly recommend you stop in here if you’re ever in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Delicious dinner! They seated us right away on Graduation weekend ( without a reservation) and we both got the Pulled pork/ Brisket dinner with Mac and cheese and broccoli salad and hush puppies. It was amazing! So tender and yummy! I also had their Old Fashioned and it didn’t disappoint! The chocolate peanut butter pie was beyond delicious! Omg!
I liked the character and atmosphere of this place. Food was good and the Texas Chile BBQ sauce my favorite.
So worth the trip and the time to have an amazing meal with the Family. There was a short wait and the gentleman at the Host Station was very friendly and offer us a place at the bar where Maddy took stellar care of us. She was so busy with tables around the bar, the Waitron's Drink Orders and help us out each step of the way as we enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts and the Smoke Wings...... When we sat at our table Dillon jumped right in and did not miss a beat. He was so pro-active with our drinks, making suggestions and paid attention to the little detail that made the meal that much more enjoyable beyond the delicious Smokehouse Burger, Brisket and Chicken Tenders for our son. Every time we come to Harrisonburg, Jimmy Madison's will be our place for great service and a phenomenal meal!
I love Jimmy Madison's, especially the brussels sprouts with pecans and bacon, and the whiskey. Their BBQ platters are highly recommended, try it all.
The Steakhouse Burger was very good as was the service. The atmosphere was nice too.
Oh man!! Great ambiance, great music, great food!! Had a combo brisket and smoked meatloaf which was awesome! The chicken wings are off the wall good! Perfectly smoked and juicy. I’d give it 6 stars if you I could!!
On a trip in VA and wanted to grab some lunch. This place is great. They seated us fast and the server was quick to come to the table to greet and begin letting us know what specials they had. I would highly recomend when you are in Harisonburg.
