Food is amazing. Wide selection of fresh soups, salads and sandwiches. They source food from local farms too, support farm to table. Service was friendly and helpful, but as it was one person running everything, let's just say it was worth the wait, but I would only go on days when I have plenty of time. If you want fast food go to McDs.
Place is closed, but says it’s open till 8. Went next door and they said it’s schedule is random. Don’t go out of your way for this place, especially with the high cost of gas (thanks Putin (wink wink nudge nudge)). ?
Had lunch there - food and service was just great - had a roast beef and cheese sandwich on toasted bread and crab bisque - both excellent - guy behind the counter could not have been nicer.
Food is good when you can actually get it. This is the 5th time I've come by during business hours to find the door looked and closed. Beyond frustrating. Need to update your hours I'd you're never open anymore.
Don't skip the soup! The soups at Greens and Grains are amazing. They are so good that it's difficult to get just one. I found out, on my last visit, that all the soups are made from scratch by chef Engle using as many locally-owned and grown products as he can. So I decided on the She Crab soup with a local beef chili to go. So good, I will definitely return!
Freshly made coffee was the bomb. Next time there I’ll try something on their menu. We didn’t have time today.
The best place in town for healthy lunch options. Ingredients are always super fresh, and nearly everything is locally sourced! I highly recommend the crab bisque
Ordered a club sandwich. Looks nothing like the picture on their website and it didn't include bacon. Mediocre at best food with long wait times.
I went for vegan food. The avocado sandwich was outstanding with perfectly ripe avocado, and it was accompanied by corn black beans and a vinaigrette dressing.. all the food is local from Virginia. The coffee was good too, but the tomato basil soup was out of this world. Delicious, fully ripe tomatoes in a zesty sauce with quite a zing. It left me smacking my lips and wanting more. If you're within a hundred miles of this place make sure you come by at least a couple of times a year. It's fantastic
Wow! Hidden gem I pass by almost everyday delicious salad wraps! A little on the pricey side on par with panera.
