While driving through, we needed somewhere to stop for a bit and didn't want to wait for service so we figured a buffet was perfect. Parking was easy, as it is in a plaza. We were able to sample a variety of food that we've never had before for about $15 a person. Our waitress was friendly and attended to our drinks. The buffet was clean, they provided gloves, and the employees all wore masks. The restrooms were clean as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the chicken (all varieties) were pretty stringy, making it rather unappealing to eat. Also, they had a lot of foods just bathing in melted butter, rendering them greasy. Overall, we had a good experience though.
I've realized I've been going to this restaurant over a year now. I think I visited the place as soon as it opened. I love the staff and the food is delicious. I honestly think prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Since I find myself going back I realized it would be good to leave a review so the restaurant knows how much I love them. Also, this may help people who also want to find a place where to have a fun time. I think the waitresses are really good people and funny at times even thought their English is not the best. The waitresses work really hard and try their best, that is something I really appreciate about them.
The only reason this place is getting 3 stars is because the server was very attentive. Food was far from fresh even at 630 prime dinner time. The pizza (which my son happens to like, but not tonight) looked as if the same 2 pieces had been reheated several times. Everything on the "bar" was old and cold. The guy making sushi was also the gentleman working the grill. He would go from touching raw fish to grilled up your food. Which was severely overcooked, noodles and meat were crispy to the point of being inedible. The only reason we continue to go here is because there aren't many Chinese Buffets in the area. It is always hit or miss, but for the price you would expect quality. Next time we will try out Golden Dragon right down the street, it may be smaller but hopefully they provide fresh food.
Normally, I would not be one to rate a place poorly. Most restaurants deserve the benefit of the doubt. The Flaming Grill is an exception. We came in for an early dinner at 5 and were incredibly disappointed. The food that was offered was all old and stale. My friend who was with me became violently ill because of the food. Go around the block to Golden China instead.
The food was all pretty bad, the crab was fried with the shell still on so it was difficult to eat. The sushi was ok but seemed to be dry like it has been sitting a while. It says adult dinner is $11.99 but for two we ended up paying $35 and both had waters so shouldn't have been anymore than $30 max after taxes. I personally wouldn't return here.
Typical Chinese/American food, great service, waitresses attentive, the two times I visited food was fresh. It's a great place if you are Jonsin Chinese buffet. I still prefer sub $10 buffets, but everything is going up, I get it.
Definitely my 9yr old son's favorite place to eat. We've been here about a dozen times. Amazing variety for a great price considering what is offered. Squid, mussels, salt and pepper fried crab, crawdads, and fish. That's always the first plate for the kiddo while I grab a plate of sushi for the table. There is great variety in the sushi and we are typically pleased with it. Mixing the seaweed salad with the crab salad found on the sushi bar is a favorite of ours. The hibachi is normally fantastic. Occasionally the cook doesn't add much flavor. You have to specify which sauces you want added but they aren't labeled. I definitely recommend trying the hibachi for lo mein though because the lo mein on the buffet is fairly lackluster. As is the fried rice on the buffet. However the dumplings and chicken teriyaki are always delish. The American cuisine is lackluster as well (pizza and mac n cheese) However that isn't why we visit so its of no consequence.
Bit into the broccoli & Chicken. Chicken was absolutely raw. I almost threw up. Thankful I held it back down. This place was good until up to this incidents. As of now I will not be returning to this establishment.
If your splitting your ticket with someone else, make sure they charge you for your own ticket! Not both! Charge me for 2 tickets then want me to tell other ppl to pay me when it was there fault. They just stand there afterwards for tip!
For a buffet it is very good. I hope it keeps its high quality food and vast options.
