Lynne Adams I think you reviewed the wrong restaurant. Portions are huge and there is NO up charge for credit card use. Oh and all the pork chops are center cut.
My husband has ben wanting to try this black owner business. And i must say the food was so good. The menu online is different, but i had mac and cheese , cabbage, hunby had fried chicken,yam and rice a gravey. We was very pleaed. Im a vegan and u like that fact no meat in the cabbage We will be returing.
When I first moved to Hampton I went here a few times a month. Haven't been in years because the prices were high and the portions were very small. The porkchop dinner uses the cheapest cut and worst of all the customer gets charged for using an ATM card. Really? That's just the cost of doing business in the world today.
Lots of food for your money, I ordered the turkey wings wich came in a bed of rice, collards and mac n cheese all for 15.00 .....taste wise ok
Overall the food was delicious. I am only giving four stars because The chicken wings and turkey wings still had feathers on them but the food was so good, we picked them out and ate it anyway :) this is definitely a hidden gem. Food was fresh and customer service was great.
I've been there twice and got the same thing. I recommend the BBQ ribs and chicken meal with potato salad and macaroni and cheese. It is very on-point.
Food is excellent and delicious. I had to give it 4 stars only because I hate the fact that they are closed on Sundays. No bad experiences here and this place is always packed .Fried Chicken and Turkey wings are excellent. I can't wait till Tuesday when they open. Service is usually around 20 minutes. Last time it was able 30 minute wait but i did not mind waiting because the food was fabulous
I love love love this place. The food is amazing. It doesn't make it to pictures sorry not sorry. But I have never been disappointed. This one my entire family agrees on.
Great service food was fantastic definitely has a Southern Soul filled to the food I recommend this to anyone stopping in town
Wasn’t ANY soul, the meat was very bland however the sides wasn’t as bad .. Either need me in the kitchen , or more seasonings .
