Haven’t been here for a while but the food is as fresh and tasty as ever. Welcoming, newly-designed interior and a revamped menu with some new options along with old favorites. The brisket sandwich on a sweet potato biscuit was delicious and my husband’s Benedict disappeared quickly. No room for one of Grey Goose’s fab cupcakes this visit but we’ll be back. Excellent, friendly service.

Great food and great service!

So I’ve been seeing all the wonderful post about this place & convinced my husband to try it out today. Sadly to say, we were very disappointed, my husband ordered the fried chicken thighs which were tasteless & I ordered seared pork chop, which was explained to me by the manager that it was marinated but yet was not seasoned well at all in my opinion. I took a couple of bites of my dinner & decided not to force it, both dishes were very bland & I sent mine back. I asked the couple sitting beside us about their food & he said the same about the fried chicken dish, the wife stated that the Mother Clucker sandwich was just ok but they probably would not be returning. Our waitress seemed discombobulated & explained to us that she wanted to take a break but they became busy with customers. I had a clear like pear mimosa & it was the best thing on our table, although it could’ve been colder. I spoke with the manager at the end & she did take my pork chop meal off the bill. I have no intentions of returning.

Nice intimate setting. Great service. Food was good. Some dishes were a miss though. But I enjoyed the strawberry feta Salas with salmon and crab cake. Others did not like the Blue fin Crab soup or the prime rib sandwich.

Amazing vibes. Good food. Super nice staff. Highly recommended

We have eaten here many times. It's always excellent and they make SUPER drinks, always spot on! The Goose has a great little vibe, nice service and we have never been disappointed with anything we have ordered. Icing on the cake, they have a baker and always offer delicious treats in a glass case. Definitely a big recommend for a local eatery in Hampton!

First time today but this place has been on my list. Food was delicious, my waitress Amy was over the top super nice. Will return for sure it's worth the drive from Virginia Beach.

First time at this restaurant and it was highly disappointing. Food was not good and overpriced! Won’t be returning.

Dana and Phillip provide a catering experience that is truly exceptional from beginning to end... we had limited time to plan our wedding (already a high stress event, but top that with a pandemic) and I can honestly say that the food was never a part of this stress. They were so accommodating and made us feel truly supported with all the roles they played (they provided food, service and bartending). We are both jazz musicians and specially requested New Orleans style jambalaya, AND we wanted macarons in lieu of a cake for our dessert... IT WAS THE BEST JAMBALAYA WE'VE EVER HAD. The macarons were GORGEOUS. It was our DREAM MEAL to a T, and our guests were dazzled. I can't say enough good things about the Grey Goose catering.... if you want a truly special, unforgettable meal for your wedding or event, look no further. They are IT.

Great atmosphere; well crafted local feel. The decor is distinct, playful, even joyful. The staff are s delightful and attentive. The food is a clever take on local flavors.I tried the Market to Market: soup, salad, ham biscuit, choice of cookie. The Brunswick stew was, IMO ideal. I scraped the bowl. The salad was so fresh, cold, and crisp. Flawless. I think the biscuit was oil, not shortening. The texture was divine: so light and soft. What a delight to make a selection from the bakery case. It was not fast. I settled on the lemon cooler (a large cookie). I’d return for that, but there are many other enticing treats, I may need two.
