We were seated promptly and our orders were taken in a good amount of time. The food and drinks were delicious
The food came out very quickly but the service was lacking. The server got my daughter's drink wrong, she ordered sweet tea received pink lemonade they changed it no problem. I ordered a meal with tortillas I received no tortillas I asked then they brought them out. I never received a refill on my water until I asked when they were ready to give us the check. The food was good though.
My friend & I had lunch here & the food was very good. Service was good as well.I had the Chori Pollo & my friend had the Birria Tacos. I also tried the Coconut Margarita for the first time & I enjoyed that. If you like coconut then you will like it. It’s a light coconut flavor. Not overpowering.Definitely worth a try. Only comes in Jumbo size but they put a lot of ice in it. Next time I will ask for half the ice.The inside of this particular Plaza is absolutely beautiful. I wish the inside of all the Plaza Aztecas looked like this one. So, definitely go to the Hampton location to experience that Azteca atmosphere.
Absolutely fabulous service and meal. We were seated and served immediately! I got the pollo patron and hubby got the enchiladas chipotle! Highly recommend!
One of the best locations to eat at. Conveniently located right off interstate 64 and surrounded by many other businesses. It was movie night for my family and I so we did dinner at Plaza and movie at AMC 24. Can't go wrong. This locations parking is limited. We had to park across the street and walk. There was no wait inside. We were seated immediately and our server was ready to take our drink order and dinner order as well. Food came out hot and fast as usual. I have heard of cutting into your steak to see if it's to your liking but not shrimp. Our server said to cut into our shrimp and taste them because they were having recent customers complain about the shrimp. Idk they taste fine to me. I had the New Laredo dinner, Wifey had chicken and shrimp fajitas and my son had the kids meal tacos. All delicious. wife and kid enjoyed their meal as well as I. Serving the best food 20 years strong.
The service is excellent. The servers are very attentive. The entrees are very good. But the entire reason to choose one Mexican restaurant over the next are the chips an salsa. With that being said. The salsa here is terrible. It's very runny and flavorless. On a scale of one to ten. It's next even good enough to be considered a one. The rest of the plaza locations have good salsa except this one.
The food and atmosphere are great! I particularly like this location because of the atmosphere. They've decorated the restaurant beautifully and there's always something new to look at everywhere you turn. The food is spectacular, as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Waiter was very polite but didn't write our drink order down, so I had to wait longer for my beer. I had to remind him what I ordered. Food is always quick and very good.
Service was fantastic as well as the food. Our server was very polite and attentive. Plenty of food for the price and it was sooo good. Going back in April for my birthday party!
The interior design is quite stunning. The service is decent. The food is good. The drinks are very good. The chicken chimichangas are my favorite dish, usually washed down with a presidente margarita.5 years later… this place is still kickin. Pollo tacos are really good. Ask for the “house hot sauce” for something with a little kick for your chips or to pour on your food. Best Mexican place in the area.
