Don't know what has happened but the last few times I've ordered it was terrible. Paid about $26 for one pizza and it didn't even have much cheese, and I paid for extra smh.

Ordered a pizza through them a couple of times when I first moved to Virginia. Definitely the first pizza place that I've seen with bulletproof glass ? the pizza itself was absolutely amazing ! That is until I got to the corner to my house and a homeless person started yelling give me that pizza ?
Price of pizza goes up and quality goes down. Ordered a large with pineapple, mushrooms and black olives but didn't get any mushrooms. After you've picked it up and gotten home it's too much of a hassle to return. Going to look for another pizza place.
Stuffed crust pizza ordered last night was not done all the way, dough was wet & just didn't seem right. Had to put it in my own oven to re cook it. Disgusting. Won't be returning.
Order my pizza on the phone when I hot there my pizza was ready got home everything was good was nice and hot

For the current time of being the time covid-19" ignorance is redundant" the manager named (Tony ) at this Papa johns store on Kecoughtan Hampton..Had disregard what it is to preform intuitive and professional representation of customer service.. also his incompetence on his duties as the on-site manager at this establishment ..I had a error with one of my pizza orders..it was gluten-free..which I didn't attend order.. I ordered online not realizing after leaving the shop it was incorrect order.... yet b4 leaving the store..(before knowledgement of the error of pizza order) one of the team members came out to check and open one of my sealed boxes to my wings to find out whether or not they given me the proper wings i ordered ..again it's covid-19 !!! And he didnt have any gloves on nor did he resign from opening my box while outside the store... as I know in food establishment (rule #101 )ur not supposed to take back or reopen a seal box from customers.!! Cross contamination! Especially with covid-19..I disregarded the incident and let that team member know that next time he should to be mindful about taken food back from customers, open there boxes outside the store, and should wear gloves..!! (Btw..He chuckle off.when I said this.) For that other customers may not taken it as.i.. yet it was until I got home and found out that the Philly pizza was gluten-free I called the store to be transfer to the manager Tony. I informed him that my order was incorrect for him replied that if I wanted another pizza I would have to pay another and I asked why did I have to pay for another one if I got the wrong pizza .he tells me furthermore they made the pizza correctly the first time I had to pay for another one..I told him that the pizza was incorrect even tho i purchased the wrong one and didn't know it till I go home and at that time I didn't want a refund.. yet l asked can he make another one just alike but with the regular crust... going forward.. he said" i still had to pay for it..!!" He tells me lthat the team made it correctly the first time and it was my fault. I had to pay for the remake of same pizza just different crust.so after being mind boggled after his first statement.. he then advised me that I should have better paid attention to what I was ordering. An i said excuse me?? And repeated wat he said ..I then told mr. Tony the manager of this shift today 2/28/21 @ 10:05 pm.. Mr. Tony had conducted absurdly poorly communication customers service skill..to conclude he should have done better to help me in the situation of food order error,and team member safety..I did call him back told him wanted a refund of my money.. ( seeing that i had to pay for another another pizza cause it was made correctly the first time)told me that I didn't have to come up to the store to be refunded but I wanted a receipt for my payments.. to get awful service from this Papa johns, that is conducted by an adolescent state of mind, and no professional skills was flabbergasting.. Mr Tony truly needs to be re-evaluated of his position and how to conduct true customer service !! theutterance of his position/performance.. was very distasteful and rude!!
