Although we've lived in Newport News for over 26 years we had never had the opportunity to visit this great place. I guess that everytime we drove by Mallory Street heading to Buckroe Beach we were in a hurry to get there. Today, we came upon it by coincidence. We were hungry, it was raining and didn't feel like driving all the way home to eat. I was the best idea ever. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot I got good vibes about the ace. Once inside, we were greeted by the hostess and given the choice to pick a big round table for five. Almost immediately, we were approached by the waiter (Esteban) who was exceptionally courteous, friendly, and attentive to our requests, since we had three seniors in our group, myself included. The service was exceptionally professional, from beginning to end and the food was freshly prepared, the pasta perfectly cooked and exquisitely savory with authentic Italian flavors. Pricing was very reasonable and worth paying for the quality food and service we received I'd recommend this family restaurant to friends and relatives, without hesitation.****

Great foood????all employees were nice and it was clean

We stopped in while traveling through the area. I never like going out on Mother’s Day but this place changed that opinion. We were seated immediately. We had pizza, baked spaghetti and their vodka sunrise pasta. The food was fantastic and we went home with plenty of leftovers. Our waitress was understandably busy but was sweet and a few other people stopped by to offer a refill, clear the table and offer a complementary dessert for Mother’s Day. If we travel through the area again we will definitely stop by.

I am writing this review while I am waiting on a parmesan cheese and a refill. Been waiting on just that for 45 minutes. We had previous waited on food for almost a hour. The food was good. So I am giving 2 stars. But the service is almost non existent.

The food was absolutely delicious my daughter really enjoyed her big ole slice of pizza

Our family has loved this restaurant for many years. As a young girl, we would take slices to go & enjoy at nearby Buckroe Beach or for a picnic at beautiful Fort Monroe. The ownership changed hands, but the family atmosphere and recipes keep us returning time after time. We enjoy eating in or take out. Pricey, but who isn't these days. At least they serve large portions.

Best pizza in Hampton and one of the few places that serve buffalo chicken pizza. Sandwiches are fresh. Their meatballs are huge and tasty; it's worth adding a side of meatballs to whatever order. Kids meals are affordable and a large portion. The staff is super friendly; and Mama Rosa is always wearing a smile.

Great place, great food, great service! :=8D

The food is good but they really don’t care about their customers. They closed before their posted hours tonight. They didn’t even answer the phone to explain they closed early. I drove all the way there to buy my girlfriend a piece of cheesecake. Many employees inside made eye contact with me at the door and ignored me. When they finally answered the phone, they were very rude, and would not put a piece of cheesecake in a box and sell it to me. I understand if you’re not going to cook any more food, but just take it out of the fridge and take my money.

Exactly what I wanted. Takeout process was simple and the portions were generous. It was difficult to enjoy dessert because the meal was so plentiful, but I persevered. Sometimes you've got to sacrifice!
