Omgoodness!! Let me just start off with saying I’ve tried 3 soul food restaurants in this area and they were very underwhelming. I was skeptical on ordering here at first but gave it a try. It was VERY WORTH IT.Omgoodness! Staff was very friendly and the food is AMAZING. Like I’ve had real down south food before because I’m from the country and this place was the next best thing to it . My husband and I were raving about it from the first bite. They def have a returning customer. I will say it is on the pricier side but hey, it’s worth that damn money.
Soooooo I'm a foodie and im obsessed with food. I'm aware when somethings amazing, just okay and bad. This was my first time ordering from here and I've gotta say that the turkey wings, greens and Mac n cheese were amazing. Everything had flavor. God has blessed the cooks hands.
The food was very good. My family really loved the strawberry cake. My only complaint is the time we waited for the food, which was take-out. It was over a hour. My advice is to call ahead to place the order. We will be going back.
The food is delicious. Customer services is outstanding. If you want soul food, LV is the best Soul Food Restaurant in Hampton Va. area. You want be disappointed.Keep Up Good Work LV Staff!!!
I thought I was getting banana pudding but instead for $6 I got cool whip, vanilla wafers and a couple slices of banana. Very disappointed.
I went here for the 1st time a few weeks ago. Food is the bomb.com. I had meatloaf, cabbage, and yams. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Will definitely go back again
Somebody’s grandma is back there serving up deliciousness!! It definitely tasted like Sunday dinner at grandma’s house. It was sooooooo good! And customer service was on 100!
Aint no way food supposed to be this good ! The banana puddin is made by one of God favorite Angels ! The chicken is great ! Candied yams was off the chain but bay bay the banana puddin is something special. The strawberry banana puddin is also out of this world. Call ahead and place your order they put so much care into everything they do.
The smothered turkey wings were delicious, great portions. I highly recommend you try it yourself.
Never in my life waited that long for an order. Was told 40 minutes to wait but it ended up being a little over an hour. Food was ok but not worth an hour wait. I actually sat outside in my vehicle for an hour. Never again. But only order if you got time.
