As always the food was great. But the only employee was the lone cook. He took our orders, made our drinks, cooked the meal and delivered them to us all without speaking two words of English. That young man deserves an award. As he single handedly took care of five or six tables, But where was the bartender and waitress for the hour and a half I was there.
We dine at Cabos regularly.. even though the service is horrendous... your waters get left empty, you have to ask for things multiple times, and even then they still get forgotten about. However, we stuck it out because the jumbo margs and fajitas were worth it. Multiple times we have been there as Staff members/owners are arguing and using profane language while paying customers, kids included are in ear shot. We went there an hour and a half before their closing time for one round of margaritas and the server was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She slammed the door in our face and told us to “get out” We will never be back, luckily we found a better place down the road called Mezcal on Nickerson blvd that was more than accommodating, extremely polite, and the service is above par. The margarita selection is better, and provides way more variety. We definitely won’t be missing Cabos and their dirty bathrooms, piss poor service, and rude employees.
We love coming as a family. So close to home
It's a smaller, cozy restaurant, with fast (unless the are REALLY busy), friendly service with a smile. The food is excellent (in my Texas opinion), & my picky 11 year old seems to enjoy it as well which is a plus. The place is clean & there is a family friendly atmosphere. My dad enjoys the selection of beer (I don't drink) & my mom & I enjoy the eating on the outside patio area- it's really quite nice. If you haven't had the chance to try this place, I would recommend it the next time you have a hankering for some delicious Mexican food.
I'll start with the positives. Service was good. Nice Atmosphere. Food not very good. Had the shrimp tacos and was sick for 2 days.
This place is great. Usually quiet. If you want good Mexican food with no hassle, no wait and a great location this is the place to go. The staff are cheery and polite. Did I mention you can't beat the location?
It had been a long time, and they didn't disappoint. The restaurant is small but there is outside dining available weather permitting. It is modestly but tastefully furnished. Our food arrived quickly and was hot. My sister ( my dinner companion for the evening ) said her food was very good. I completely agree with her, my food was delicious. Add in great service from a very pleasant waitress, and you have a solid 5-star rating.
First time at this establishment. Service was great. Cute, cozy, friendly environment. I like to play it safe at new places that I stumble across without recommendation. I ordered the beef taco salad...it was mediocre. Didn't pay attention to prices, as I wasn't paying.
The staff are very friendly. The food is always fresh.
Decent little restaurant. It was cozy and clean inside. Order Carne asada tacos. They were a tad dry but overall good.
