Would give ZERO STARS if I could!!!! As we walked in the the server acted as if we were an inconvenience. The server wrote our order down and still messed the whole thing up. I ordered a fajita chicken omelette that was supposed to have salsa and sour cream on the side. The omelette had a few pieces of chicken and peppers inside and nothing on top. Very underwhelming. We had to ask for the sides that came with our meals. When asked she proceeded to tell us they were out. We waited 15 min for avocado that was supposed to be apart of the omelette. The service was just horrific, also the Bathrooms were disgusting. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!
6 May 2022 @ 11:15 pm was seated and it took over 30 minutes before someone was available to even take my order. There was 1 person tending take-out and pick-up orders, and maybe 2 for the grill. Riduculous personnel management which shouldn't be excused. There were 16 patrons in the dining room for the 1 person to wait on. Gotta do better! What has happened to proper customer service? I will not return nor recommend anyone else return.
Great service, great food! Very sweet and patient server, she picked up right away that my elderly Aunt has hearing difficulties!!! (You'd truly be surprised at how many people don't, and act rude, hateful and sarcastic ???)!Our server did not rush us, and still kept bringing the drink refills!! We will definitely be back!!
I ordered online for carry-out. I was staying at a nearby hotel. My food was ready when promised and the order was correct. The food was cooked exactly as I requested. The food was great! The only issue was, there was not plasticware or salt/pepper or butter in bag or offered, when I picked up my order. I would recommend checking for those items, if needed. Luckily, my hotel had the items that I needed.Thanks for a great breakfast!
My server clarence was nice ,very professional.The food was delicious,i have no complaints.The staff was friendly ,the place was clean.I seen happy customers all around me eating?Thank you clarence i appreciate you so muchThe food was good.A staff member made my son happy she gave him a coloring book and crayons,he was happy!!!
Go to Newport News these people don’t want to work and food sucks. Ordered pick up a few weeks ago and waited in store for an hour as they kept saying it’s getting packed up now. It was not. Got home food was cold less than 10 min drive. Sent an email no response. Tonight I called three times to place an order for pickup. They pickup and hung up on all three times so did it online. Got big steak omelet and pancakes. Half the ingredients were missing. All it had a was few green peppers steak and a few mushrooms. Steak was burnt and crispy. Employees were too busy to acknowledge I walked in I stood there for over 5 min while they played on their phones and talked. Then when I told them I had a pick up they pointed to a rack and said it’s probably up there. Didn’t know business was such an inconvenience for these people. Worst steak omelet I’ve ever had. No hash browns, onions, tomatoes or anything else in the omelet or on top
I placed a to go order curbside pickup order and I received a text stating that my order will be ready by 9:57am. I then sent a text to let them know I was on the way when I arrived it stated that someone will be out to bring my food. After waiting 10 mins I decided to go in. I asked about my order and the gentleman behind the counter stated he doesn't do the to go order and pointed to someone else I need to talk to. I told him that my order is a curbside order and he said they don't do curbside anymore which is strange because they have curbside spots posted outside. Then the other lady said all the to go orders are right here and pointed to a cart which you literally had to check the cart to see if your order was there. Anyone could take the to go orders from the cart and leave they wouldn't know the difference. After noticing my order was not there I waited on the bench another 20 minutes as the last kept putting to go orders on the cart and not calling names. I would never and I mean never eat or order anything from this establishment again.
Avoid This Place! After 30 minutes wait, We were seated and drinks and orders were placed. Received drinks and Requested Hot water that wasn't received for another 20 mins. Many Tables were empty With Dirty Dishes on them while Host Named English Kept telling incoming customers there would be a 25 min wait. 2 tables that were seated after us received their food before us even though we were seated first. After 1 Hr of waiting and shameful excuses we got up and walked out. After Speaking to Host She was rude, Offered no apology for waisting our time and Poorly run Ihop. Poor Service and even Worse Bad Management with excuses and No Solutions. We Will Never Return nor Recommend this Ihop. Shameful!
Food was cold!!!! But the biggest thing was the hostess who made me and my husband EXTREMELY uncomfortable. You could tell she was making other customers feel the same. Honestly I think she thought she was being friendly somehow? But she was just plain rude in the worst way possible! I know this ihop has really gone downhill but I cant get over how they can let someone be so aggressive to customers!
First and foremost, every should also be wearing hair nets including the waitresses because there was an eyelash in my boyfriend’s food and a piece of hair on my plate and I know it was not mine because it was black and my hair is blond me. Meanwhile there’s a guy walking Around with pigtails. The French toast was disgusting. It’s like all they did was cook the bread with egg and didn’t use any see cinnamon or anything. Please tell your cook to learn how to make French toast. The server was very sweet, but I could tell she was new and couldn’t keep up. She did good though. The wait time was also pretty good.
