The food and service was spot on. My coffee never got below a half. I was with a group of 15 so we pretty much packed the place out. The food came out fast and piping hot. Everyone at my table loved their food. Top 3 breakfast joints I’ve had in years. If you have a problem with this place, I’m sure it’s you and not them. My new favorite place in VA.
Absolutely delicious! We had to make an emergency stop on our road trip due to a nail in the tire. The tech suggested this place for a quick bite while we waited. What an incredible blessing. Delicious, affordable and just what we needed to bring up the mood with our kids. The homemade chips are out of this world!
Moved to this area a year and a half ago, and this place has easily become my most visited restaurant. A regular weekend staple. The food quality and quantity is great for the prices, with most things made to order. I've never had anything on the menu that I didn't like after about fifteen visits, but items I would specifically call out are the pancakes (perfectly fluffy with a crisp outside) and the potato chips (fried to order, always crunchy and hot). The wait staff and owner are welcoming and friendly. This is the kind of joint where you really build a relationship with the folks working there. Where the experience just gets better overtime as you become a regular. The interior is a little dirty, but in that way that makes it feel more relaxed and homey. Coffee is even served in family house mugs that just adds to the charm.

Food was good. But when a dog walked out of the kitchen, my friend and I lost our appetite. There's another review on here that mentions a dog being in the kitchen. I thought they were exaggerating, but apparently not. Probably won't eat here again.
Everything tastes Great, awesome menu. I have a breakfast fajita and it wasbwonderful. good clean environment and it really smells good in there.
Had never been there before before this past Saturday. The waitress came right over and was friendly and polite. Gave me my options as I do not eat eggs other than boiled. Breakfast was great and I made a cute little friend. Excellent place! Might be a little to tight for some but still an excellent place overall. I'm a fan of "Diners" so there is that also.
Just had the Seafood omelette and chicken sandwich and I must say the omelette will have me returning very soon!The owner of Fertitas always gives back to the community. During the beginning of the pandemic he provided lunches for the kids for awhile so I had to support.
