Service was very good. The food was average. Perhaps I am influenced some because we have an excellent Mexican restaurant close to home. Overall a good experience

I enjoy the food here, normally get the lunch special beef fajita burrito. Today a young woman waited on me for my to - go order. I asked that I just get 2 red sauces and no white sauce. The lunch special came to $10.22. I put $3 in tip jar and left with lunch. As I was driving back to work, I perked in my bag and only had one red sauce. Turned around, went back. The young lady told me the new rules are only one sauce and charged me $1.14 for another sauce. Had I not mentioned the red sauce, I'm sure I'd gotten one of each. The girl was snotty, a sign on the door mentioned prices were lowered, but I don't think that included lunches. A shame, I liked this place, but with this kind of service I'll find another Mexican food place for lunch. Management, if you read this, talk to the only young girl at register about the way she interacts with customers. Maybe this is why the place was empty during lunch.

I had just left a nearby fabric store and my wife was hungry. Sitting at the light I saw this place and thought I would give it a try. I ordered the beef and chicken fajitas and my wife got the California burrito. Both portions were huge. I can eat a lot and I could not finish my food. The price was not bad at leass than $40 for 2 meals, sodas, and tip. I would definately eat here again.

2nd time in the restaurant and it had the same old musty smell to it, like the smell of old grease. Very disappointed, my first time getting their chicken taco salad and was excited but when I started mixing the food, I noticed the chicken looked grayish and had a funny smell. I usually eat my salad from top first and the tortillas. It had me worried so I couldn’t even finish the rest. Seeing the gray chicken made my stomach feel queasy. They also add onions in there where the other Mexican restaurants I’ve ordered from in the area do not. I wouldn’t recommend getting this from there and if you do, double check your chicken. The woman who also brought out my order wasn’t very friendly. The chips they gave me were also stale tasting so I couldn’t even eat those. It was a total waste of money . I would never go back there again.

The food was pretty good. A bit pricey. We were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant, but service was slow once we were at the table. I ordered fried ice cream and received a regular scoop with whipped cream and sprinkles. The check was hard to read, so I have no clue what I charged for. It would be nice if the checks were clearer or printed with prices since they take the menus. Other than that, staff were friendly enough. I would give this restaurant another shot if we visited Virginia again.

Unable to accommodate larger parties. Not enough staff to cover the tables. Super forgetful with orders even after we kindly broke them down. Didn't bother to refill any drinks, left off side items. Wait staff had attitudes and avoided providing decent service or addressing concerns. Hopefully they will improve in the future. The decorations had a cool feel and the host was very welcoming upon entry. Rooting for this restaurant to do better.

Yesterday was my first visit in a couple months. I should have known something was different when a place that has always been packed at lunch only had a handful of people in it. We ordered from our waiter who never came back and a young kid brings our food to us. One bite and I thought I was going to be sick. It tasted awful so I cut into the food to see what was in it. There was some kind of chicken mixture with more black and green stuff in it than chicken. The color was horrible. Both our dishes had this mystery mess in it. The young kid stopped by and I asked what it was he said cilantro and a bunch of other spices. We told him how bad it was and that we couldn't eat it and he said ok and took our plates. He returned with out check, no one ever came to talk to us about our 2 uneaten dishes being returned. We go to pay and also tell her about her visit, she ignored us and only said do you want a receipt. After many visits to my previous favorite Mexican spot I will never be returning.

Great authentic Mexican food. It is always prepared quickly and ready on time. On occasion when coming in for pick up, there is no one at the register to help takeout customers which is slightly annoying when it happens. Food is always excellent though!

This place beats ANY Mexican restaurant around this area (Juan's, Plaza Aztec, Jose Tequila, etc...) They come correct! Food comes out fast, hot, & favorable! If you put anything less than 4 stars for this place, you're definitely on something.
