First visit back after years. Mother's Day lunch. Expected crowds and a wait. Wait was about 15'mins, not bad. Got seated, ordered. Server said they were short staffed and the kitchen was behind. Okay, we talked ( our group) and waited. After an hour our server said they were out of what we ordered. By this time new diners arrived and were seated and served their orders. We inquired about the fact they ordered the same menu items we did? Server said he would check. All in all it took almost two hours to receive our order. Manager adjusted our ticket. I felt was handled to our group satisfaction. Will return. The server was very pleasant.
Food was good. Server was fantastic!
PART I...The experienceHampton Cracker BarrelServer very nice & pleasant and pop manager was pleasant to assist us...when we had some challenges with our meals...We got here by 8:30p and they close at 10pm...meal came at 8:52 we got our silverware at 9:00p went to eat my food and mashed potatoes and gravy were hard?then got half the size meatloaf of the regular size a little over cooked because they were about out...I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen or were they just very under staffed...But as I left a very pleasant lady who checked us out named Lisa ...asked could we please give them another chance..after.. I showed her the meal and explained my food experience was not the best but explained overall the customer service of our server and general manager was pleasant...So hopefully the next time you see my Cracker Barrel In Hampton review those two ⭐️ ⭐️ will go up...STAY Tuned for Part II....
Great time catching up with a friend. Our server, Cam gave us plenty of time to chat and kept the coffee hot. Thank you Cam for excellent service! Loved looking at all the items in the store. Definitely going there the next time I need a gift. Everything is adorable and affordable for the quality. Food was delicious and we each had enough to take home for 2nds. The country ham slice was huge!!!
The only reason I gave 1 star so I could leave this picture and review. I payed $11.43 for this hearty breakfast maybe if I was a 6 yr old that would have been hearty. They charged my daughter $2.49 for a side of hash brown casserole which is the same size in a hearty breakfast. My wife's pancakes had set under the heat lamp long enough for them to start to curl. The serves was a little better than the kitchen service. I kept my cool and didn't get kicked out but I will never set foot in your establishment ever again!!!!
Nice in nostalgia but food needs to be better. waited forever for our drink order. It was not overly busy as normal and food was brought out cold chicken overcook and steak was raw instead of med rare. Host was great but waitress looked lost. Food quality and service has dropped. Needs to retrain the cooks and waitresses. Especially when they can be seen from the tables just standing around talking next to kitchen pass.
The food was congealed and cold by the time it got to our table. The only thing that was halfway decent was the sweet tea. It was disappointing because I really love Cracker Barrel but the food at this location was awful. That being said, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. If It weren't for her I'd be leaving only one star.
Haven't been here for awhile and happy to say we will be coming back. Prices are reasonable. Had a friendly waitress who also helped water down my sons soda for me. Food was just as good as I remember. And I was sure to hit the shop for some goodies. Ran into a lovely woman running the cashier. Very clean here as well and I could here the other waitress helping someone with suggesting food for their diet. All in all a good place to be!
