Placed an order for pickup. Service was very friendly and nice. I order a pick 3 appetizer sampler (Chicken Tenders, Calamari and Mozzarella sticks) and a small steak and cheese sub. Like I said the service was prompt and order was ready on time and everyone was nice. However the food was lacking in flavor. The pick 3 was just a bunch of frozen stuff thrown in a fryer and tasted as such. The steak and cheese sub lacked flavor and the only good thing about the sub was the bread it was served on. The bread is fantastic. I don't like giving low star reviews for local places but I didnt even finish my food.
I've tried this place 4 times. I give another shot especially when a place has good reviews and is a family owned business. However, I've been disappointed every time. Food has been mediocre or less and this last time was my final straw. I couldn't get through via phone call to place an order so I went there to place one in person to their restaurant with maybe 3 cars in the parking lot. Placed the order, was charged more than the online menu had stated and received partial orders. My pasta dish was bland, the chicken was dry and it was missing key ingredients. I'm just done.
I frequent this restaurant a lot but the last time I went I was very disappointed. The service was up to par but food was terrible. I ordered spaghetti and meat sauce I received meatballs instead. It was very bland and I had to add tons of salt/pepperThen I put the grated parmesan on (which I like a lot of ) The cheese was musty and very old and spoiled I nearly threw up (seriously) I sent the spaghetti back and refused another one Then to my dismay I was charged for it !! I'm not going back unless for a pizza ? (maybe) which always is usually very good (we'll see) .

The CRUST ✔️✔️ the SAUCE✔️✔️ the CHEESE✔️✔️ the SEASONINGS✔️✔️✔️!!!To my fellow New Yorkers, if you haven't had ANNA'S ITALIAN PIZZA, YOU BETTA GET YOU SOME!!!YOU WON'T REGRET IT! Yes, I WILL BE EATING FROM THERE AGAIN and AGAIN!

I've only ever had the pizza. Its definitely not the best pizza I have had, but it's still good. The crust is good, and the ingredients seem good but it's a bit on the oily side.The locratic is great. Lots of parking and if your dining in, there are plenty of seats. The waitresses seem very nice. You can tell they atleast don't hate their jobs. They seem to be very accommodating and kind people. I would rate their wait and counter staff way above average for local restaurants.The only reason they don't get a 5 from me is I think there is beter Italian food out there. 2hat gives them a solid 4, and if a 4.5 existed, I'd give them that is the service.
I'm a 20+ year regular customer at this particular Anna's. I've never had a meal from here that wasn't delicious. Portions are a perfect size. Staff is friendly, quick, courteous, and in all other ways fantastic! There are other Anna's Italian Restaurants near me, and they're all good, but this one is my favorite!
Try Anna’s for the pizza and If you like heat, try the Fire pizza. The fire pizza had great taste and heat that lingers. I’d go back for that alone. Next time I’m trying their philly cheese steak sandwich. The mark down is for price vs portion. (Not quality or taste). I went in with an appetite and maybe I’m just cheap so there’s that but l for $13.62 thought the personal pizza size should be larger. Other than that, I’d still recommend and go back.
We came in at 9:20pm thinking it closed at 11pm. We walked in and we were told they close at 10. We asked if it was still okay to dine in and she said yes. We sat down and were waiting for the rest of our party and the waitress came by, threw the menus down with an attitude and said if we wanted food to order soon because the ovens will get turned off at 10. We said okay and ordered our waters, the waitress came back with our drinks and said "I'll just come back when I see more people here" in a rude tone. It was at that point after the waitress was so rude to us we felt uncomfortable dining there and left. I understand we got there closer to closing which is frustrating for the staff but we thought it closed at 11pm and if it was an issue they should have told us the dining area was closed and not allowed us to sit down. I'm sorry that we came later but I do not think that means we deserved to be treated that way.
Excellent food and service, this is a great Italian restaurant. Highly recommend you try it.
