Great selection of beer, seltzers and coffee! Something for everyone if you’re not into beer. The mojito seltzer was 10/10 absolutely delicious!! The jerk wings & the Buffalo garlic wings were so juicy and amazing. The service was friendly and inviting. I’ve already told family about this place and will definitely be back!
We had a great experience with 1865 brewery with outstanding beers & wonderful food. I must say the spicy pineapple & Strawberry Lemonade Beer exceeded expectations and definitely has an extraordinary taste. The jerk wings were delightful not to mention the jerk chicken fries as well. 1865 brewery is definitely a must try when you’re in the Hampton roads area. It’s not your average brewery. I’ll definitely be going back again!!! Make sure you do the same if you want a friendly staff, wonderful beverages & great food. ?

It was really nice ?. It is in an older building in Phoebus with an old school feel. There is live music on the weekends. The beverages are delicious and the wait staff are wonderful. They also serve food. I ordered the mango ginger drink with the 1865 beer added (beer they brew) and it was one of the BEST ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES I've ever tasted. Check em out.
Everything you'd be looking for from a neighborhood, dive Brewery.This place will surely be there for some time. The atmosphere was chill. They serve food (I didn't order any so I won't review it). They have a nice but quaint patio with comfortable patio furniture. There's a firepit for for colder nights outside. You're able to view their "brewing equipment" via a glass window inside (nice touch). They offer drip coffee which provides a caffeinated experience without the bitter taste of traditional coffee (its a smoother cup of coffee that reminds you of tea). Theier variety was great offering: Assorted Flights, cider, IPAs and traditional beer.As a new guy in the area, I'd surely return for a quick date night or a night out with the guys. The music was fitting for the atmosphere, the area felt safe and there were even games on the patio.For my veterans in the area, they offer a military discount as well!

This place is amazing! That atmosphere is everything you have been missing the last 24 months! I had to get a 32 oz growler of the Duval Beligum Ale to go.
Ive been to this brewery twice and have loved both occasions. Waiters and waitresses were all super nice and talkative.
1865 brewing company is a great place to hang out. The food and beer are great. The staff is extremely friendly. The atmosphere is laid back. The layout is very nice. I will definitely be going there more often.
Wife and I love comfort and great beer. This place brings them together nicely. The double Stout is great. Met the owner, William, who is awesome smart. It was our first visit..... we will be back often
