I went to pickup a mobile order last night and, after getting no response from the drive-thru order kiosk, drove up to the drive-thru window and was told that everyone left at 9:30pm by the only guy still there. So in frustration I asked for an immediate cash refund since I used Apple Pay and told the guy I hoped all the employee deserters would be fired. They’re supposed to be open until midnight, even on Father’s Day, and there was still a line of four cars waiting at the fully-lit drive-thru entrance even though the building signs were turned off, but that’s not surprising since he told me he didn’t know how to turn off all the lights. I appreciate that this guy didn’t leave and was trying to close since he couldn’t run the restaurant by himself, but overall the remaining management and other staff who worked there and deserted him should be fired if morale is this bad at this location. I’ve had many bad experiences here with incomplete orders and rudeness but this has got to be the worst. Stay away from this location until it significantly improves because I am.
I have stayed away from Wendy's for approximately two years because service at some locations is poor and drive thru service often comes with pay challenges. I tried this location because it was in Short Pump and I expected a better standard. I ordered two baked potatoes of which they did not have. Instead I ordered a Jr. bacon cheeseburger and a diet coke. The sandwich was properly made and had a good taste. I was still a bit perplexed as to how Wendy's could not have a signature item in the afternoon.
Stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat. While the food looks amazing, the drive thru worker was EXTREMELY rude. He did not say hello. He never told me my total at the window. Didn’t say thank you. Nothing. No words at all were exchanged. It was the most disrespectful encounter that I’ve had at the Wendys on Pouncey Tract Rd. If there wasn’t a long line, I would have asked for the manager.
It was just what you expect. It was fast food and better than a bologna sandwich. Tossed most of the cold fries out the window. I will still go back next time I want a burger
It was good in the beginning but now they went to the dogs. They sometimes have good days and others just be a waste of money. Had hair in my food multiple times. I lost hope for anything after breakfast hours. Then what was really the last straw, is that I used MY POINTS that I earned to get my child a "FREE" kids meal. (Which I always do) And they told me that I had to buy something with it....Since when did that come into effect, cause days before the situation happened they let me use them. Honestly all these restaurants nowadays not even worth opening.
Waited like 10 min for the only car in front of me to order , no one on Friday night should of been the red flag to leave on . Instead I get a biggy bag no drink an regular nuggets . Just close this location , the John Rolfe one actually works
Food was spot on and hot, new fries are good, it was later in the evening but the line moved pretty slow. Workers were friendly.
The manager is amazing at her job. She runs the show! Quick and friendly service!
Pretty friendly staff always amazes me how difficult it is to get more than one pack of crackers considering they’re only two in a pack. Especially sense I ordered a large chili?? Smh. Guess the struggle is getting real. Just want a few plain white crackers ? I don’t understand it but overall good experience and friendly staff. Just happy to see people actually working and making effort! We need more of us that is for sure
Tried one of their breakfast biscuit and not horrible not great either, I'm talking about the biscuit itself, the breakfast meat itself was good. The biscuit was slightly under cook, they need to work on that.
