You cannot experience sushi, without trying this mom and pop combo, hole in the wall restaurant. The best, THE BEST sushi I’ve had over the past ten years of being a sushi fan. I’m going on my fifth year of ordering sushi from Sumo Sushi Express and drive forty minutes away from my new job, just to get sushi from these folks. The best. They deserve ten stars if possible.
Very friendly, unusual ingredients such as the avocado and carrots in sweet potato roll but it actually was darn good. Make sure you read ingredients when ordering rolls but definitely give them a try.
Food is great, but considering they are a takeout only place I wish they'd use less plastic and more sustainable packaging.

Been coming here for years now and I'm never disappointed! The owners are kind & always ask me about my day, and the sushi is to die for- it's delicious and fresh! I can't imagine going anywhere else for sushi!
I'm very grateful for the previous reviews because the interior appearance of their store leaves a lot to be desired. They are currently take-out only so I ordered in person at their store. I ordered two lunch specials, spicy salmon roll and sweet potato roll. Both were DELICIOUS!!! The quality was amazing, very fresh and flavorful, and the portions were BIG for lunch portions (I'm not complaining!). The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because neither of the employees wore masks at any point during our transaction, while making the sushi, or delivering it to us. I found that very disrespectful and not at all safe in these times of COVID. #maskup #besafebesmart

I was pleasantly surprised. I've been looking for a good nearby sushi place and so far every one around here has disappointed. I'll admit, I initially didn't try this place because of the name. In my experience sushi "express" usually means grocery store quality. But after trying them I can say the quality is far beyond that. Everything is reasonably priced for pretty large portions. The food was tasty and fresh. And it was only about 15 minutes for my order to be prepared. Definitely give this place a try.
