Mods pizza, might be the best pizza place in the twin hickory area! Prices are great, not to mention the quality doesn’t match it (in a a good way). Very nice and clean place better than many places like Pizza Hut and all of that. Have a wide variety of things to chose from. I come here with some friends all the time!
Even though it was crazy busy on a Saturday evening the staff was working hard and communicating with customers. It did take longer than usual to get my pizza but I could see staff was trying their best. And when I got my pizza it was fresh and hot. So no complaints there!
My family and I wanted pizza tonight and decided to try our neighborhood pizza spot MOD. First we were treated awful. The young man that took our orders was rude, impatient and his tone was very unpleasant as if we were bothering him. The whole ordeal was very humiliating and it was only directed as us. The customers before and after us did it not receive the same treatment. He was patient, kind and his tone was pleasant. At that point it became very clear to us how this young man felt about customers that look like us. I was so upset, we left our contact information with the shift lead for the store Manager.The Manager contacted us within an hour of us leaving the store. My husband and I discussed the situation it detail with the Manager. The Manager listened and was very empathetic. We stressed that this should be a teachable moment for this employee/young man and the Manager agreed.We choose to write this review and contact the Manager not only for ourselves but for the next customer like us because no one should have to experience the type of treatment.We appreciate the store Manager reaching out and taking steps to ensure this does not occur again to any customer.
Quick service, friendly staff, and delicious pizza! A variety of toppings to choose from, including vegan cheese. I recommend the thicker crust, but they also have gluten-free AND cauliflower crusts.
Maybe it was a bad night, but when you go to a chain you expect a little consistency. All 3 pies were burnt to a crisp and not edible and they didn’t even give us our full order.
If you are one of those crazy vegans then this place is for you. Hands down the best pizza you can get with non dairy cheese in town.
It was perfect.... Out of the three that I've been to. This one ranks perfect. And it actually tastes better than the other two that we've been to. Amazing service. Happy to see us. We were not a bother. Happy to serve us. Overall best experience ever at MOD pizza
This place is the best! My son gets to make his on pizza and everyone is always so patient waiting for my toddler to decide what toppings he wants. Thank you for all your hard work!
We came in 20 min before closing, they were already closing up. One of the two girls was very nice and friendly, the other was okay, but told us we'd have to leave promptly at 10. Our pizza came out a couple of minutes after 10, so we had to leave right away. The prep area had a few flies crawling in the food and didn't look very clean. They don't skimp on the toppings, so that was good. The pizza crust was uneven and came out too crunchy. As with any pizza place, it's a hit or miss depending on the employees, and MOD has significant turnover. Last time we visited this place 2 years ago and liked it better. So maybe next time is better, it maybe not. I love the concept of custom pizza with unlimited toppings, so I'll probably keep coming back every so often.
