We hosted a two-day company training event at Bartizan last month and they did a wonderful job! The space had a great set up to have large group time at the front of the room and absolutely loved having the cocktail tables, lounging chairs and couch in the back half of the room. We didn’t need A\V but they have that option if needed. Their food is absolutely delicious and they provided unique and flavorful options. They even had fresh out of the oven cookies for after lunch, for a perfect pairing with an afternoon cup of coffee. The bathrooms were very close by and easy to access. Overall a great place to host an event with great service throughout the planning and day of the event.
I held my daughter’s bridesmaids’ luncheon at Bar-ti-zen and we had such a wonderful experience. Kate was great to work with, very friendly, responsive and had great ideas. The whole staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. Our bartender was super accommodating of some different requests and made a delicious signature cocktail for the day. The passes appetizers were so darn cute, among them a shrimp app that looked like a mini terrarium! Food was all delicious and service was stellar. Five stars! I highly recommend! I’ll be using them again for sure!
The food and wine were delicious. We shared the fig & pig pizza, charcuterie board, and spinach dip. Rachel was our waitress and we absolutely loved her. She was super attentive, sweet, and hospitable. Macy was also great! Definitely coming back here again. 2thumbs up. The manager John was so welcoming and wonderful as well!
Where do I start! My family and I sat on their patio, the tables and chairs were nice and comfortable, the music playing in the background was moving and relaxing at the same time! The waitress (Rachel) was extremely polite and intuitive to our needs! The food was flavorful with every bite! The cocktails were made to perfection! Great experience for me and my family and will definitely be returning for another wonderful experience!! If I could give more stars out of 5 it would be a 10!!!
This place is my go to place when I’m in the Richmond market. The food is always amazing, the bartenders are great, and this time we had the pleasure of being served by Rachel…she was a BLAST! So knowledgeable about the food and alcohol menu and was so fun to boot. I will surely be back.
The wait staff were lovely. Rachael (sp) was adorable. Appetizer: Spinach dip. Very rich with a mushroom palate and wee bit too sweet: 3 of 5 Drinks: mixed drink and wine very good indeed: 4 of 5 Food: Sides: Bourbon glazed onions: 4 of 5. Roasted potatoes: 4 of 5. A bit on the sweet side Mains: fettuccine carbonara. Way to rich for anyone's taste. Too much cream: 2 of 5. Pizza, meat lovers. This was not any pizza we've ever eaten. Very sweet, very, very spicy and way too wet. You had to eat it with a knife and fork: 1 of 5. Catch of the day (it was a white fish). Dead center was raw. Decent crust. 2 of 5. Short Rib Tacos: not bad at all. 3 of 5. The sides: street corn and black beans: both 1 of 5 Low score reason: t Everything from the appetizers to the main courses were so sweet we had to ask for salt and we kept drinking water. Overall (and don't do the math) 2.5 for the food. Tone down the gobs of honey, or whatever is used in 'every' dish. Rachael(sp) was a keeper. She was the best thing about the place. As the saying goes: we went, we ate, we won't return again
Great atmosphere. Super clean. Professional staff. Food was amazing, and the selection from the bar was amazing. Both owners were there working and One owners Chad even took the time to give us a full wine tasting of their Seven Lady Vineyards line up. Will be back with more friends soon. It was a nice day so the patio which had infrared heaters was pretty busy.
Our first experience at Bartizan was outstanding and we look forward to returning. The employees made this wonderful, yummy dining experience stellar. I made our reservation online and called twice to increase the number of guests. Both Jamie and John who answered the phone were professional, hospitable and helpful in updating the reservation.When we arrived, we were indeed seated in the covered patio as requested. Our party of four enjoyed the wonderful service provided by Rachel, John and other team members and our tween enjoyed her “prohibition cocktails”/mocktails. Everything was brought out in a timely manner and was plentiful and delicious. The dessert menu was excellent.The service provided by the staff sets a very high bar. We look forward to our next visit.
The restaurant is beautiful. I was immediately impressed at how professional and inviting the staff wasAnd..Oh my god, the food!Tried 4 different types of tacos and 2 different pizzas.The pork belly tacos and the fig and pig pizza were my favorite but that was not an easy choice since everything was delicious. The food was as good as it looks. The chef is cooking up a little bit of heaven in that kitchen.This is my new favorite restaurant.
We recently had our daughter's bridal shower at Bartizan. We could not have picked a better venue! Kate was my event coordinator and she was amazing! She made planning the event effortless and was always available to answer any questions I might have had. We were able to come up with a menu that was personal to our event. From the food to the beverages everything was well thought out including any food restrictions or allergies.Everything was perfect the day of the shower. Our daughter absolutely loved it, as did all the guests who raved about every detail. The food was delicious and the desserts were sooo good! The staff that worked our event were all amazing! They were all so friendly and accommodating. We had such a wonderful time that we plan to go back for dinner sometime soon. If you are looking for a venue to host a special occasion or event I highly recommend Bartizan!
