The best tomato soup ever. So good my husband ordered some to take home, he never does that... The rest of our food was just as good as the soup. We were so happy with our experience. Our waitress Madalyn was wonderful and attentive to our dining experience. Kudos for hiring such a wonderful person who cares about the customer. The excellent food and service is why we will choose to come here again.
Appears that they poured a can of coconut milk and plenty of saffron and some precooked/fried pieces of chicken. Felt totally disappointed and a waste of time, money and food.
A very nice Indian restaurant. They make a great effort in presentations. Food was very delicious but my family preferred other places. Portions are smaller and expensive. Overall, I still enjoyed the food and the fancy platings.
What a great find. We’ve lived nearby for many years but hadn’t stopped by before. But we certainly will again. A great menu selection of favorites. I’m a sucker for the lamb chop. Tasty and abundant.
Fabulous cuisine. Great service. We had Methi Chicken, Butter Chicken and sprout and yam goodness and ginger scallops for an appetizer. We will definitely be back. VJ is an amazing chef.
I'm always up for trying new cuisines so accepted an invitation to eat an Anant. I don't like food with intense flavors so I ordered something that sounded like it wouldn't be highly flavored - Kofta-A-Sahib Anjeeri (Yukin Gold s\dumplings stuffed with figs and nuts in a creamy cashew sauce). They offered to adjust the level of heat on each person's dish and I requested as mild as possible. The taste was interesting. My husband enjoyed his Mailai Kabab Caesar Salad and our daughter and son-in-law enjoyed their Chicken Tikka Masala. Two members of the party also had a tomato soup that they thought was good. I can't compare the food to other similar experiences but it seemed to be well done and service was very friendly. It did take a long time for the entrees to arrive. I thought the prices were high for the amount of food served but our son-in-law thinks the value is good at lunch. The lights were lowered after our arrival and we wished the restaurant hadn't been made so dark.
It's not often when an entree is so subpar that I would give any more than three stars, but in this case, my amazing host and my appetizers moved me to four stars. The not so good: My lunch entree, Goat Mughlai. It sounded so good. Goat, one of my favorites. A nutty base sauce and some nice spice. Well, let's just say it didn't add up to that. The four bone in pieces couldn't have totaled more than .75 ounces. Not even an once of meat. What's worse while three of the four specs of protein were super tender, the other was like eating rubber. The gravy, while with potential, was the most flavorless thing on the table. That is unless you count the fact that the chef...no thays too strong a word, the new line cook must have seen I ordered it spicy so they threw in raw green chilis at the end. It was really, really bad.So why four stars? 1st, our host was wonderful and helpful. Just a joy of a person. 2nd, the tomato soup was divine. Silky creamy and piping hot. Its rare that I can ever get soup that is hot enough but this was. I would go back just for this. But if I did, I'd be kicking myself for not getting the lamb kabob or as its on the menu the Banboo Hogget Seekh. There is as much going on with the flavors as the name. Perfect spicy, great veggies and sauce to accompany. I should have just got the kabob and the soup and been done with it.I'll definitely go back to see if my opinion changes.
Outstanding! Finally some extraordinary and delicious Indian cuisine. Three of us went to lunch and the value is mind-blowing. We could not finish our meals the servings were so generous and prices so reasonable. Plates are beautifully prepared. Our server was excellent however it was a bit slow, not sure if that would be the same during a busy dinner rush, but I am rarely in that big of a hurry. The Cauliflower/Broccoli florets are a must as an appetizer. Lunch is served with soup or salad. We all had the tomato soup and it was delicious! I have pictured the Chicken Tikka Masala and we also enjoyed the Vin-D'ahlo. The sauces are outstanding. Indian is normally a once-in-a-while cuisine for me however Anant is so good it may become a weekly haunt.
Amazing food !!!! My new fav
