Well, I want to start off by saying that the staff were very friendly. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Although she was sweet, it seemed she was not knowledgeable of the menu. Often times should could not give a direct answer. The restaurant itself was warm, cozy and casual. They were short of supplies, but the cause could be other reasons than management. Their house salsa had large pieces of onions as though they forgot to chop it up and most of the chips where crushed. The menu choices are scarce and very over priced! In addition to that the quality of food is low grade and flavorless. In addition to that, some of our food came out cold. It was distasteful to the point that we were unable to finish our meal. We left hungry after spending over $150 for food?So if you are looking for a day off from cooking and would like a nice hot meal, this is NOT the place!!! DO NOT GO TO UNCLE JULIO'S. I would advise you head to one of the other restaurants nearby.
I wanted to celebrate my daughters graduation and someone suggested Uncle Julio’s. It was our first time there and the food was so tasty and delicious. Each bite I took it melted in my mouth. My daughter kept saying, “Mom, this is so good”. We both agreed that we never had any food like this that was so authentic and tasted amazing. We had a great time and we will be returning. The waiter was also very friendly and provided great customer service.
Bryan was our server today, he was very pleasant and helpful. It was my first time and I ordered the steak fajitas. They were amazing. Not oily or over cooked. The chips were light and perfectly seasoned. Bryan made this a wonderful experience, especially how hard it is to get good service due to shortage of staff. Thank you Bryan and thank you Uncle Julio's. I will return!
The staff was friendly, even if they were short staffed. They let us know there could be slight delays, but we didn't have to wait an extraordinary amount of time on anything. The food was fantastic! Their fajitas are some of the best you can get from a chain restaurant in Virginia. Their house margarita is tasty as well.
Pretty busy but we only waited about 5 minutes or so before being seated. Everything was fine. My husband had a bit of difficulty because he thought it was too dark in the dining area and he couldn't see the menu that well. Get the Swirl if you like margaritas and sangria. You'll thank me later.
Our waiter had excellent customer service. He was phenomenal, interacting with my kids very outgoing and respectful. Wish I knew his name so that I may give him a personal Shout out. I will be referring my friends and family, will be back soon!
Wow! We have been coming here from culpeper and have never had service like tonight. We ordered online and picked up.. they gave us old food the chicken for the tacos was so hard it couldn’t be eaten, old cheese dip nothing was hot. We called soon as we noticed and no one answered. You have probably just lost a long time customer from your extremely POOR service.
Had the chicken and steak fajita for 2. Our food came our perfectly. Our server was very kind. The staff was excellent. They do provide chips and salsa so becareful not to overfill your self with that. That mango lemonade drink was very good.
We had an amazing experience celebrating my 45th birthday with a chocolate piñata. The entire family enjoyed it and our waiver was very attentive to our needs. Thanks.
Food quality is always good but the quantity is misleading. Dont always go by the menu picture because you will be disappointed. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a Server that goes above and beyond and sometimes you'll get one thats completely disinterested in serving you but gives you the smiling face and the great big "thank you" when its time to leave the tip. The restaurant is relatively clean with the exception of the silverware. I have never..... and I mean NEVER...... received a clean set of silverware at first. I always ask for replacements and need to clean the replacements because I know dirty silverware will just keep coming. What concerns me is that I assume the dishes are just as dirty when they put food on it in the kitchen. It's only logical since its all going through the same machine. Reservations are the way to go when dining...just FYI.
