Just got out of dinner. Worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. Stay away, entitled rude staff. We had Charlene as a server assuming the receipt is correct. She brought our initial drinks after ordering and then after 20 minutes we had to ask her to bring us more drinks and she said “my god” and was overall rude. I would highly recommend literally any other restaurant. I never expected to spend over 1 and a half hours and have rude service.
Very poor costumer service, we were given a table, sat for close to 20 minutes with no one attending to us. Some of the costumers that came after us were being serve while we sat there watching. I don’t know if you serve base on some particular preferences but this particular IHOP needs to do better. Similar experience the last time we were here.
Food was delicious and affordable. Service could have been better. Jackson had many tables and was slow and forgetful. However, the steak omelette and pancakes deal was awesome and we got free juice, can’t beat that!
Long wait to even get seated, even longer wait for our waiter to come get drinks to us. Couldn't take a picture, but there was a broken glass on the floor and no one cleaned it up for over 30 minutes. Didn't help you could see the visible irritation on our waiter when we dared to ask for refills.
The food was good. Pancakes and french toast were delicious. Bacon was crispy just how I like.
If I could give a zero I would the only good thing was the our food ways warm. They didn't clean the tables or the floors. Took them 30 minutes for them to come and serve us. Every time I went here they weren't great but this last time was the worst I am never coming here again.
The last 2 times that I've eaten at the Gainesville, Va IHop, has been very good. My waitress was so attentive n courteous. My food was fresh n hot n my palate was quite satisfied. I will be back again soon for some more breakfast. Thanks IHop
Food was cold when it got to us . Waited forever to just get seated with a empty restaurant. Then the waiter was no where to be found. My husband had to get up and hunt someone for another glass of sweet tea. Then the other employees laughed at the waiter for not being around. Nasty food! Very disappointed
This IHOP has dropped in quality over the past year. We nearly had to seat ourselves. The famous pancake syrups were not at the table, and we did ask for a flavor it was delivered in a small bowl.We may not return, but we may offer the shop 1 more try. In comparison to the Manassas Mall location, this store front was better, now its not.
Remind me again why I come here? The biggest problem here is that they don’t have a host anymore to sit customers. Which shouldn’t be a huge problem except all of the servers literally ignore you. And I mean literally, you lock eyes with them and they just continue to walk by you without a word or gesture. I understand they’re short staffed but even a “we’ll be right there!” Would be sufficient. We used to like this place but hell the Manassas mall location seems to be a better option, and that should be saying something.
